COURSE INFORMATION
COURSE TITLE Oracle Primavera P6 Version 8, 15 and 16 EPPM Web Administrators Guide PMI Registered Course Number 3001-P6WAG, 14 PDUs
SHORT DESCRIPTION OF COURSE
This course is aimed at teaching students how to administer a P6 EPPM an Enterprise Project Portfolio management database.
COURSE AIM This course objectives are to teach participants: To demonstrate the structure of a P6
database, To demonstrate the tools available to access,
set up and administer a P6 Database, Understand the steps that should be
considered when implementing a P6 database, To outline the P6 functions that an
Administrator should be familiar with to administer a P6 database using the Web Interface,
Explain how to setup/configure a P6 Database using the Web interface, and
Explain how to administer a P6 Database using the Web interface.
Successful completion of the workshops is required to complete the course.
OPTIONS FOR IN HOUSE PRESENTATION
This training course is designed to be delivered as 2 day course where the students complete workshops at the end of each chapter to reinforce the material taught in the lesson. The courses may also be run as:
A one day course where the students complete the training and learn to administer a P6 database but not complete the student workshops.
A two day course where students learn how to administer a P6 database and complete the workshops.
Students may work on their corporate database and set up their own database. This course may also be shortened to meet any customers’ requirement including
the writing of specialized training material to suit a customers’ method of operation.
STUDENT PREREQUISITES
It is preferable that students have the following experience and knowledge: Understand project management processes, Understand the concepts of enterprise project management, Have completed a Primavera P6 training course, either the Web or Windows
Client courses will be acceptable Have operated P6 as a scheduler for 6 months in a large organization with multiple
projects and users.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE
The following people should consider attending this course: Programme Managers and Project Control staff evaluating the software against
your organisational requirements. Database managers who wish to understand how to set up and administer a
database.

His Melbourne, Australia based company, Eastwood Harris Pty Ltd, offers project controls consulting and training services world wide with a strong focus on Microsoft Project and Primavera software.
