In 2009, he won studentclinicianoftheyearandwas1strunnerupintheUKfinals.HealsowontheUKDentsply/Ceram.X Case Contest in 2010, amongst many others. Raheelgraduatedreceivingtheprestigious'AcademyofOperativeDentistry'Award.Hehas also won awards since graduation. Raheel had his first publication in'AestheticDentistryToday'asafinalyearstudentandhassincebeenpublishedmany times in several journals including the Journal of Oral Implantology,InternationalJournalofDentistry,andtheJournalofCraniofacialSurgery.HehasalsobeeninterviewedintheBritishDentalJournalandDentistrymagazine.
Teachingisprovidedthroughseminars,hands-onpracticalexercisesandgroupdiscussions.Emphasisisplacedonthehands-onelementthroughoutthecourse.Weencouragestudentstobringalongcasesandquestionstoeachsession,asattheendofeachdaytherewillbeadiscussionandFAQsession.

Priortothecoursedelegateswillbesentimagesofteethalongwithhomeworksheetsbothblankandfilledin.Youwilldevelopyourdentalanatomyknowledgeandwaxupskillsbeginningwithdrawingthreedimensionalimagesofteeth.Delegateswillhaveaccesstosketchingequipmentthroughoutthecourseandshouldaimtohaveasuperblevelofdentalanatomyknowledgeoncompletion(thiswillalsohelpenormouslywithyouramalgamcarvingandcompositesculpting).
CPDHoursandReadingMaterialEachdayisworth7verifiable‘ContinuedProfessionalDevelopment’(CPD)hours.Acertificatewillbeproducedattheendofthecourseprovidedthecoursehasbeencompleted.Thereisnoformalassessmentinordertogainthehours,howevereachparticipantisrequiredtosigninasproofofattendance.Thereadingmaterialwillcontributetonon-verifiableCPDhoursaslongastheparticipantmakesarecordofthis.
