ABOUT TOULOUSE

Toulouse is nestled in the south west of France, a couple of hours from each coast. You can get to the west coast of Biarritz for fabulous beaches, Bordeaux for the fantastic wine, or Albi – an up and coming city resonant of Toulouse!

There’s a large student population – making up around a fifth of the overall inhabitants! Meaning there’s a young vibe and dynamic buzz to the city. It’s been famed as the number 1 city to study in, in all of France.

Toulouse is known as ‘La Ville Rose’ – called so because of the red brick build architecture, which has a warm glow at sunset. A sight to behold.

There are a wealth of cafes, patisseries, restaurants, parks, the old historic town centre and the lively main square – more than enough to keep you occupied for weekends on end! When you fancy a trip out of the city, transportation is plentiful and cheap. You can walk everywhere within the city, or hire a bike for a faster trip!

Toulouse is a fantastic city, with gorgeous weather and culture. You’ll not be disappointed and will certainly remember your time spent in this amazing place.
