Description

The Core DDI Intermediate Configuration (CDIC) combines instructor-led training and interactive labs to develop an in-depth working knowledge of configuring and managing Infoblox network appliances running Infoblox NIOS operating system. The course will cover advanced networking topics such as TSIG and GSSTSIG, implementation of DHCP custom options and failover, dynamic DNS and how it functions with DNS/DHCP, remote authentication, DNS views and scheduling NIOS upgrades.

This course follows the Infoblox Core DDI Basic Configuration (CDBC). CDIC can be taken as a bundle with the Core DDI Basic Configuration course (CDBC).

Target Audience

The CDIC course is an intermediate level course intended for anyone responsible for the implementation, administration, operations, maintenance and day-to-day management of an Infoblox Core DDI product. This includes system administrators, network administrators, installers, sales engineers, systems engineers, professional services engineers (presales and post sales) and technical support professionals.

Anyone planning on taking the Core DDI Advanced Troubleshooting course (CDAT) is required to complete this course and the Core DDI Basic Configuration course (CDBC) before attending the CDAT course.

The CDIC course includes an exam voucher for the Core DDI Intermediate Configuration (CDIC) exam to gain the Core DDI Intermediate Configuration (CDIC) accreditation. The CDIC accreditation certifies advanced knowledge of network service protocols and configuration of Infoblox Core DDI product. The CDIC exam can be taken during the course.

The CDIC accreditation is required for attending the Core DDI Advanced Troubleshooting Class (CDAT).
