COURSE DESCRIPTION
Content in Music Education are associated with contemporary music application with discussion on pop music like ballad,
pop standards, rock and roll, alternative rock, and disco or its modern term Electronic Dance Music (EDM). The students can
demonstrate understanding of the lessons through music appreciation and analysis, and performance.
Subject matters in Art Education are also connected with contemporary art with discussion on 21ST
century multimedia
forms like, digital photography, video games, and digital printing and imaging videos. It also discusses various forms and element of
art, modern art like cubism, surrealism, pop art, and op art. The students can display an understanding through art appreciation,
analysis, and performance. Students are also given opportunities to create various art forms using locally available materials.
Topics in Physical Education include a thorough discussion of concepts in Physical Education and a comprehensive
presentation of physical fitness activities. Activities are linked with societal fitness with discussion on hip-hop dance, zumba, and
cheer dance. The students can show understanding on the dance styles of hip-hop and stunts on cheerleading through performance.
Areas of concern in Health Education are related to consumer health; national and global health trends, issues and concerns
like Reproductive Health and Cyber Crime Law; and the development of a health plan and exploration of careers in health to
achieve , sustain and promote health and wellness. The students can prove themselves knowledgeable enough to pick a career path
that they will find satisfying and rewarding.
