• Keep it simple.• Keep it safe. • Focus on just one or two SLOs at a time. • Start small. Complete an entire loop with one

course or a series of classes and see what it teaches you.

• Keep assessment a faculty responsibility. Don’t give it over to others.

• Use the assessment samples posted to create dialogue about the best instrument.
