    Le prsent en be + ing (ou prsent lunettes) :Il sert dcrire une action qui se passe sous nos yeux. Il se construit avec l'auxiliairetre au prsent et le verbe avec -ing.

    A miming game : What is he doing ? He is swimming. What is she doing ? She is chatting !

    Le prsent en be + ing (suite) : forme affirmative : I am sleeping / he is sleeping / you are sleeping forme ngative : I am not sleeping / he is not sleeping / you are not sleeping forme interrogative : Am I sleeping ? / Is he sleeping ? Are you sleeping ? rponses courtes : Yes, I am. / No, he is not.

    Leprechauns :C'est un petit lutin : radin, gros, buveur de whiskey et qui sent mauvais. Il est banquier et cordonnier. Il est trs rapide et dteste les humains. C'est une lgende irlandaise.La fte nationale irlandaise est la Saint Patrick : le 17 mars. Ils font des parades ce jour-l. Les bars s'appellent des pubs . La danse irlandaise est le step dancing.

    Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, and on March 17th, Irish people celebrateSaint Patrick's day. They all wear (porter un habit) green, which is the colour of Ireland, and they wear shamrocks, because they are the emblem of Ireland. The capital of Ireland is Dublin and the colours of the Irish flag is green, white and orange.

    Mr Macguire : He is a dance teacher. He works in schools and youth (jeunes) clubs. He teaches step dancing and the history of this dance. He wears hard shoes (claquettes) and the Feis (traditional costume). He does a lot of sports. He loves his job.

A businessman (homme d'affaires) works in offices. He signs a lot of contracts, he discusses with people. He wears a suit (un costume) and a tie (cravate).
