    TIIE WALWORTH COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:1 PART I: That section 50-5 of the Walworth County Code of Ordinances entitled Human2 Services Priorities is hereby amended so as to create paragraph (h) thereof to read as follows:aJ4 Sec. 50-5. Human services priorities.5e Gr) t-icensingeqd inspe7 stores. convenience stores. hotels and motels. bed and breakfasts. tourist rooming, vending8 machines. recreational camps. swimminq pools, tattoo and body piercing parlors. shall not be a9 prioritlz of the Department as lone as said licensing and inspection services are provided by the State10 of Wisconsin.1112 PART II: That county resources, including staff time, shall not be expended in further planning or13 promotion of the activities specified in Part I without prior approval of the board of supervisors.

    Ordinance No. ** - month/vearFiscal Note and Policy Impact StatementTitle: An Ordinance Amending Chapter 50 of the Walworth County Code of OrdinancesRelating to Priorities of the Health and Human Services Department

    Purpose and Policy Impact Statement: The purpose of this ordinance is to specify thatcertain licensing and inspection activities, currently provided by the State of Wisconsin, willnot be a priority of the county. The ordinance prohibits further county expenditures on thissubject withoui approval of the county board.

    Is this a budgeted item and what is its fiscal impact: Approval of this ordinance can beaccomplished within the approv ed 2014 county budget. State law prohibits the county fromcharging fees in excess of the cost of providing licensing and inspection services; therefore,implementation of an inspection program would be either 1er.y neutral or would add to thetax le'uy, depending upon the amount of fees charged by the county.
