The exhibition is filled with some of the finest properties East Anglia has to offer, both for sale and to rent. As well as discovering the types of beautiful properties that are currently available, you will also have the opportunity to explore what our home counties have to offer, from Essex through to Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Lincolnshire.

As this is a property exhibition I would like to give you my overview of how we are finding the property sector. You will understand that I can only comment on the Essex area but I’m sure my colleagues from our neighbouring counties will only be too happy to talk you through their markets when you visit their stands.

With spring traditionally being the busiest time of the year for the property market everything appears to be going in the right direction. Since the start of the year, all the key ‘front end’ indicators have improved considerably especially in terms of buyers and tenants actively out viewing.

Our Sales offices have seen a good level of purchaser enquiries this spring. In particular our branches on the London/Essex borders have seen an influx from those looking for rural properties further into Essex and the Country Homes market has certainly gathered pace as a result.

The Lettings market continues to be extremely busy. This is characterised by the high number of tenants looking to rent which is positive for rental prices being achieved and for those entering the Buy to Let market as landlords.

Please take this opportunity to walk around the exhibition, explore the beautiful settings of Boreham House and take advantage of the activities that we have organised in the grounds. The children will be entertained by circus entertainers, face painters, balloon modellers and a bouncy castle. If you enjoy live music then we have a renowned jazz band, Jazz Bites, playing throughout the day. What’s more Colchester Birds of Prey will be displaying their wide range of birds on the lawn.

We hope the weather is kind as there is also a BBQ and refreshments will be available throughout the day in the pavilion and also the beer tent.

Circus entertainersKeep the children entertained by Professor Rainbows who will be teaching us how to juggle, spin plates, master the art of diabolos, how to use ribbon strings and skip like a pro. Please go and join them throughout the day.

Face paintersWe know that children love having their faces painted which is why we have hired a brilliant face painter who will be available throughout the day to come up with some fantastic designs. Balloon modellersSee what they can turn a balloon into by visiting them on the lawn. Bouncy castleGreat fun for the children but before food maybe advisable! Food and drinkEnjoy some food from the BBQ and refreshments from the beer tent and the bar in the pavilion. What’s more there is also a sweet cart from Anglo European School for all those who have a sweet tooth! All details correct at time of going to press, certain activities are
