1. First, read your newspaper article as a group. 2. After reading the article, come up with a main idea title and write it on the worksheet.3. Then, write three sentences from the article that supports your title.4. Finally, find your newspaper title from the board and answer the following questions (do not have to write these down, just discuss within your group):

- Comparing the two titles, what are the similarities and differences?- Does your title and the original title convey the same meaning, if so how and if not why?

1. Follow the rules and take turns playing2. Roll the die and move your game piece that many squares.3. If you land on everything but the ladder and slides, you need to pull from

the stack and answer the question on a separate sheet of paper. 4. If you land on the ladder, climb on up. If you land on a slide, slide back

down. 5. While this is a group game, this is still an individual learning process.
