Baseball News
The SNCC Baseball Season has come and gone again. And what a great season it was! we had one team this past season in the 11u “A” division. Our regular season started the last week of April and ended middle of June. Our league championship tournament was held the 3rd weekend of June. After all the players hard work, our team placed 4th in the overall standings with an impressive 10-6-1 record for the season. A big thank you goes out to Stu thompson who took on the head coach role after a few seasons of assistant coaching with the team. Also can’t forget to thank the assistant coaches Paul, monique, and Don. Great job coaches! i especially want to thank the parent volunteers who help out at every game with scorekeeping (Joey) and pitch counts (Shane, tim). last but not least of all, i want to thank the players for coming out and trying their best at every game and practice, without you players there is no team! we made some upgrades to the Ball Diamond during the off
season, we have added roofs to the dugouts, there are a few more projects in the works. A big thank you to all the volunteers who came out to help make this dugout project a huge success! if you enjoy baseball or you know someone who does, we are always looking for volunteers and new players, come check out our community baseball program, our spring sports registration is on March 2nd. Please check out the club website for alternate ways to register for sports at www.stnorbertcc.ca

Heritage Day
Our 4th Annual Heritage Day is held each February. Come and celebrate the Heritage of St. Norbert! Unfortunately our newsletter comes out after this year’s event, which was held on February 6th 2016.
We are absolutely confident that we all had a wonderful time! All the volunteers, board members and community groups pull together to make this event a fun-filled and action-packed day. We had a pancake breakfast, historical displays and activities along with horse drawn sleigh rides, authentic food and traditional music.
Annual General Meeting
our Annual General meeting will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 7pm in the banquet Hall. we need community members to attend. we will be going over past events and elect a new board of Directors. Getting involved with your community centre is a great way to get to know families in your community and to get to know the kids your kids are hanging out with. Coffee and snacks will be served.
