Eve: Eve is the leading female character in Infinity. The story is told from her point of view, showing

her life in the prison like home for the illegal. Her transition from being in hiding to being part of

the system is shown through her clothes.

Snatchers: The role of the snatchers is to find any illegal children that are hiding from the system.

They track them down and then take them to the home for the illegal.

Younger Eve wears a dirty pink

top, blue jeans and white trainers,

typical clothing of a young girl. It is

slightly muddy to show that she is

in hiding and suggests that the

clothes are well worn and old. The

prop of the bear is used to

reinforce the idea of a childhood.

This costume is different from the

older Eve who is wearing a non

    gender specific uniform which is

the same as all the other children.

This shows how she has changed

from an individual to a unit.

Dark clothes are classic to symbolise

a bad character but I wanted the

clothes to be informal and the

snatchers to be young. This hinted

at the idea of them being illegal

children that have been given this

job when they turn a certain age.

The use of the mobile phone shows

how they are tracking and adds afuturistic element to the looks.

Felicity Fern: Felicity is the owner of Felicity Ferns Home for the Illegal which is the home that the

main character Eve ends up at. She is strict, emotionless and unforgiving.

Adam: Although only a glimpse is caught of the character, if the film were to develop the audience

would find out that her has come to the home for the illegal to save Eve, our main character.

Felicity Fern is dressed sharply, with

elements such as the shirt and plaid

skirt reflecting that of a headmistress or

matron. It shows authority, as she is in

    charge of the establishment.

The shirt in the bottom photo has

elaborate detailing on the collar and all

her clothes are fitted and look chosen

by her. The thick red belt in the top

photo shows that she is fashion

conscious and not old fashioned, as do

her tattoo on her ankle and the

piercings in her ears. She also wears

    jewellery, showing her wealth.

The use of a tattoo and piercings show

that she is an individual, unlike the

    children in her care.

    The character wears tracksuit bottoms,

a red t-shirt and a warm white jacket.

The colours and change in clothing

style shows that he isnt a child in the

    system and is still free.

Much like younger Eve the clothes

dont look new or fashionable, they

are more practical. But they show that

he isnt running away from the

institution as he isnt wearing a

    uniform.

The use of white also symbolises he is

a good character, the opposite of the

    snatchers who wear black.

Children: The children are illegal as they were not meant to have been born. They are housed like

prisoners and forced to do mundane tasks and acts as slaves to make up for being born in the first

    place.

The children in the Home for the

Illegal where drab, plain and cheap

looking clothing. This is to reflect

that of a prison, where everyone is

made to wear the same uniform. I

also made sure that the t-shirts

brought were all the same size. The

    older children and the younger

children all wear the same size t-

shirt to give the idea of a one size

fits all system going on. It shows the

    lack of care for them.

    The uniform takes away their

    individuality. They are one faceless

unit, not different people. This is

because, as illegal children, they are

not entitled to the same rights or

    care as the illegals.

Although the uniform is dark, it

    doesnt symbolise evil. Instead is

gives the impression of a poor, cold,

    half-starved environment that the

    children live in.
