Disposable RF Electrodes (TCD)Cosman TCD disposable electrodes are indicated for use in radiofrequency lesioning of nerve tissue. Each electrode comes sterile-packed to allow greater flexibil-ity in scheduling cases, or to serve as a backup in the event of accidental electrode contamination. A clinician can keep a small number of TCD electrodes in stock to perform procedures that require unusual electrode lengths, without having to purchase new autoclavable electrodes. Like reusable Cosman CSK electrodes, TCD electrodes contain thermocouple (TC) sensors to monitor RF and Pulsed RF lesion temperatures. Each TCD electrode is compatible with both straight (CC) and curved (RFK) Cosman cannulae, and is color-coded to match cannula length.
