Sustainability is often seen as a trend. We at corratec

believe: sustainability is a challenge for our generati-

on that cannot be taken lightly. This is why for us as a

manufacturer it is not only about expansion, market

share and maximizing profits; we want to think and act

in the long run to secure the basis of the bike industry

and create a better livability for all of us.

Individual mobility has become an indispensable good

in our life. When my father assigned his company cor-

ratec to me many years ago, a battery powered lamp

was already seen as a great technical achievement.

Today we speak of nano cells, fluidcarbon and other

innovations of which we cannot even fathom their con-

sequences. For us – technical progress aside - you as

a human being, the specialist dealer and your passi-

on are what truly matters. We are proud to cover the

complete range of our bycicle production in Raubling

near Rosenheim – from development to design all the

way to production. Even the smallest parts of your bike

contains my passion and that of the whole corratec

team.

Nachhaltigkeit wird gerne als „Megatrend“ gefei-

ert. Wir von corratec meinen: Nachhaltigkeit ist eine

wichtige Generationenaufgabe, die nicht zur Modeer-

scheinung entwertet werden darf. Deshalb geht es

uns als Hersteller nicht allein um Unternehmensgrö-

ße, Marktanteile und Gewinnmaximierung, sondern

vor allem darum, durch langfristiges Denken und

Handeln die Grundlage des Fahrradfachhandels zu

mir das Unternehmen corratec vor vielen Jahren

anvertraute, war eine Lampe mit Batterie schon

eine technische Errungenschaft. Heute sprechen wir

über Nanozellen, Fluidcarbon und über Dinge, deren

Tragweite wir alle kaum überblicken können. Uns sind

bei allem technischen Fortschritt Sie, der Mensch,

der Fachhändler und Ihre Passion das Wichtigste.

Wir sind stolz, dass wir in Raubling bei Rosenheim

die komplette Bandbreite der Fahrradproduktion

abdecken – von Entwicklung und Design bis zur

Von der Bikeschmiede zum internationalen ProduzentenDabei fing alles klein an, als Konrad Irlbacher Senior, ein leidenschaftlicher Skirennläufer, 1970 in Rosenheim den IKO

Sportfachhandel gründete. 1982 begann sein Sohn Konrad mit dem Verkauf von Rädern und Ersatzteilen, aus dem sich

bald eine leistungsfähige Technikschmiede entwickeln sollte. Als Händler und Importeur bekannter Marken, vor allem

aus Italien, sammelte das junge Unternehmen unter der Leitung von Konrad Irlbacher Junior eine Menge Know-how.

Unter dem Markennamen corratec wurden 1990 die ersten eigenen Bikes bis heute produziert.

From small bikeshop to international producerFrom humble beginnings, Konrad Irlbacher senior – a passionate ski racer – founded a sporting goods retail shop (IKO)

in Rosenheim, Germany, in 1970. In 1982, his son Konrad started to sell bikes and parts and thus fostered an efficient

company with expertise. As a dealer and importer of well-known brands, especially from Italy, the still young compa-

ny accumulated technical know-how under the lead of Konrad Irlbacher jr. In 1990, bicycles under the name corratec

were produced for the very first time – until this day.

Seit Bestehen der Marke corratec – und dies schon in zweiter Generation -

sind wir dem Standort Deutschland (Raubling) treu geblieben. Entwicklung,

Konstruktion, Design und Montage (Produktion) sind und bleiben an unserem

Firmensitz in Bayern am Fuße der Alpen. In diesem Paradies leben wir unse-

re Werte wie Tradition, Innovation, Qualität, Sportlichkeit und Leidenschaft.

Alle unsere Räder werden persönlich vor Freigabe zur Produktion von Herrn

Konrad Irlbacher, CEO, und Luca Burzio, Head of Development, persönlich auf

den Straßen, Wegen und Trails gefahren und dann für die Produktion freige-

geben.

Somit erhalten Sie die Sicherheit, dass jedes corratec und Mauro Sannino

Fahrrad ein erstklassiges und einzigartiges Produkt ist.

location in Raubling, Germany – and have been living this passion for two ge-

nerations. Engineering, assembly, research and development have ever since

been located here in our headquarters at the foot of the Alps. In this beautiful

place we truly live our values: tradition, innovation, quality, athleticism and

passion. Before going into production, all of our bikes are personally tested

on the roads and trails by Konrad Irlbacher, CEO, and Luca Burzio, Head of

Development. This way we ensure that every corratec and Mauro Sannino bike

is a high-quality and unique product.
