2017 –2018 SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION
Registration is now underway for next year’s Sunday School classes. Registration will take place in the rectory from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday thru Thurs-day.
Registration Fee 1 child -75.00 2 or more—$100.00 If you register before May 1 the registration fee will
be $65.00 for 1 child or $90.00 for 2 or more children.

Many members of our parish have served our country in the military. When a vet-eran passes away and is buried in a National
Cemetery, the family receives an American flag in gratitude for the service of their loved ones.
We would like to honor our veterans by flying their flag on our flagpole. If you have an American flag at home that you would like to lend to the parish in memory of a loved one, please bring it to the rectory. We will fly it for one month and then return the flag to you. The name of your loved one will appear in the bulletin for the month his or her flag is displayed.
Also, if there is a member of your family who is serv-ing in the armed forces now and you would like to honor their service with a flag to fly in their honor please drop off a flag for us to fly with the name and the branch of the service they are in.

El DOMINGO DE RAMOS
HOY – 7:30 P.M. Los jóvenes de nuestra parroquia están
preparando una representación dramática de la Pasión, Muerte y Crucifixión de Jesús que tendrá lugar el día del domingo de ramos a las 7:30 pm en la iglesia. Los esfuerzos de los adolescentes de nuestra parroquia se transformarán en una hermosa presentación de la Pasión de Jesús y será para nosotros una maravillosa manera de entrar en el espíritu de la Semana Santa. Por favor, tome nota de esta fecha y hora para que no se pierda esta hermosa expresión de fe mostrado por nuestros jóvenes.

PASSION PLAY PALM SUNDAY
TONIGHT - 7:30 P.M.
The youth of our parish are preparing a dramatic representation of the Passion,
Death and Crucifixion of Jesus that will take place on Palm (Passion) Sunday night at 7:30 PM in the church. The efforts of the teenagers of our parish will be transformed into a beautiful presentation of the Passion of Jesus and will be for us a wonderful way to enter into the spirit of Holy Week. Please take note of this date and time so that you will not miss this beautiful expression of faith present-ed by our young people.
We are off to a good start with the Annual Cath-olic Appeal. Many of our parishioners have al-ready made a pledge. The more people who participate in the appeal makes it easier to make our goal.
If you have not yet made your pledge, there are pledge envelopes at the doors of the church. Once again, I thank you for your generous sup-port of our parish.

Monday of Holy Week - April 10 Reconciliation Monday
Mass schedule: 8:00 AM 12:00 noon Confessions will be held in the church at the following times:
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
You can come to the rectory for confession at any other time.
Holy Thursday - April 13 8:00 PM - Mass of the Lord’s Supper
On Holy Thursday we remember that the Lord instituted the Eucharist at the Last Supper. At this beautiful liturgy, we remember the institution of the Eucharist and the example of humble service that Jesus left us by washing the feet of the Apostles. After the Mass there will be a procession with the Eucharist. You are invited to re-main in the church after the procession until 11:00 PM for adoration.
Good Friday - April 14
1:30 PM - Bilingual Procession with the Stations of the Cross 3:00 PM - English Service of the Passion with the Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion 7:30 PM - Spanish Service of the Passion of the Lord with the Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion followed by a procession with the cross.
Holy Saturday - April 15 8:00 PM - Easter Vigil
The Easter Vigil will begin at 8:00 PM with the lighting of the Easter Fire and Procession into the church. As usual, new members of the community will be baptized at the Easter Vigil. Please join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord at this most solemn liturgy.
