Assan FoodsSince it was established, Assan Foods has exported to over 70 different countries and continues to export to more than 30 countries located in 4 continents.The company produces tomato paste for many countries in the Caucasus, Middle East, and Africa, andhas been producing ketchup and sauces for retailers in Europe and Asia Pacific for several years.Moreover, it also supplies tomato paste, pepper paste and pepper juice as raw material to multinational food companies around the world.In Turkey, Assan Foods operates in the out of-home consumption market with its brands Kingtom, Colorado, and Oba. While Kingtom serves the out-of-home consumption market in the areas of paste, ketchup, and mayonnaise, Colorado is the leader in the area of sauces in the same market. The products under these brands are delivered to various locations across Turkey through a wide network of distributors. Assan Foods has also been producing private label products for a lot of Turkish customers in out-of-home and retail channels.
Since its founding, Assan Foods has been carrying out activities by integrating the requirements of high quality standards with production processes and has been regularly audited by certification bodies and customers. Moreover, the company holds significant security and quality certifications, such as ISO 9001:2008, BRC, IFS, and TSE. Assan Foods ensures tomato production of its contracted farmers are in compliance with Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), which the United Nations defines as “practices that aim to make the agricultural production system socially responsible, economically viable, efficient, protective of human health and sustainability, and environmentally sound to ensure animal welfare.” Moreover under the Smart Farming Project, Assan Foods monitors the development of tomato seedlings and collects important data through meteorology stations and sensors placed in the fields of the Karacabey Plain. The data offers guidance on field-soil selection and production processes for upcoming years.
Founded by Kibar Holding in 1998, Assan Foods started processing commercial tomatoes for raw and packaged tomato paste with its modern and high technology plant in Susurluk, an area near the Karacabey Plain where commercial tomatoes are heavily cultivated. In 2000, the facility commenced ketchup production and 2 years later, mayonnaise and sauces were added to the product portfolio. In 2010, a repackaging facility was established in Agean Free Zone to serve the tomato paste demands of the export countries.Assan Foods plants in Susurluk and the Aegean Free Zone produce over 300 products, including high quality tomato and pepper paste, ketchup, mayonnaise, and various sauces.The factory in Susurluk has one of the highest tomato processing capacities in Turkey. It is established on an open area of 200,000 m2, consists of production, warehouse, management, and service buildings, along with social facilities, which make up a total area of 21,600 m2. The plant has the capacity to process 4,500 tons of fresh tomatoes and produce more than 2.5 million products per day. The company’s industrial investments amount to more than 50 million USD, and additional investments are underway. The Ege Assan plant located in the Izmir Aegean Free Zone is established on an area of 4,500 m2 and has the capacity to package 24,000 tons of tomato paste per year.

TSI Aviation Seat which is the subsidiarycompany of Assan Hanil, established in 2011as a joint venture with Turkish Airlines (THY)has been designing, producing, repairingand marketing all types of aircraft seats andsupplying spare parts.
Assan Hanil, one of Kibar Group’s automotivecompanies was established in 1997 with the partnershipof Seoyon E-Hwa which is the leading automotivesupplier in South Korea, started production as an OEMPart Supplier in the automotive industry.
It became one of the important suppliers of Ford-Otosanas of 2005 while it was supplying parts only for HyundaiAssan in the early years of its establishment. In theupcoming years, Assan Hanil has added Isuzu, Honda,Agco and Mercedes Benz Turkey to its customerportfolio respectively. In addition Assan Hanil is one ofthe main suppliers for M2 Light Commercial Vehicle(H350), which is a joint project between Karsan andHyundai Motor Company (HMC).

The leading company in the sandwich panelindustry, Assan Panel initiated production in 1990 atits first factory in Tuzla, Istanbul with a capacity of4 million m2/year.
Continuing the investments to improve its capacityover the years, Assan Panel carried out investmentsfor the İskenderun facility with a capacity of 3 millionm2/year in 2004, for the Balıkesir facility with acapacity of 3 million m2/year in 2009, and for theJordan facility with a capacity of 4.5 million m2/year in 2012. Then, in 2015, the investment for thesecond line of the Tuzla facility, which previously hada capacity of 3.5 million m2/year, was completedand the capacity was increased to 18 million m2/year.

Ege AssanTomato paste, which is the raw material of the goods packaged in the facilities, is either procured from local producers or imported from California, USA, the region which is the leading commercial tomato processor in the world.
After they are reprocessed in the Izmir facility, they are packaged in tin cans or glass containers. Products of Ege Assan are exported to countries in North Africa, the Middle East and the Arabic Peninsula. Sales to other countries are also carried out successfully.
The company was founded in 2010 by Assan Foods in the Aegean Free Zone located in Izmir in order to increase competitive capacity in global markets and to fulfill the needs and expectations of export customers.

Hyundai AssanLocated on an area of 1 million sqm, the Hyundai Assan İzmit Factory is the first overseas manufacturing facility of the Hyundai Motor Company. Manufacturing 36 units of i10 and i20 models per hour, the factory controls each final product at 1,500 points before making deliveries. The Hyundai Assan
Factory, which carries out assembly using first-class production processes and holds ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications, also attaches great importance to the digitization processes with Industry 4.0.
Hyundai Assan, which entered the Turkish market 30 years ago, is celebrating its 22nd production year in Turkey today. Jointly managed by the Hyundai Motor Company and Kibar Group, which hold 70% and 30% of shares, respectively, Hyundai Assan is the brand’s compact automobile hub that opens up to Europe. Hyundai Assan İzmit Factory, which has an annual maximum production capacity of 245,000 products, manufactures i10 and i20 models with more than 2,500 employees and exports them to more than 45 countries. Carrying out the highest export to Germany, England, and Italy, Hyundai Assan ranks among the top five brands in Turkey. İspak AmbalajDesigned in line with Industry 4.0 projections, İspak Ambalaj’s new factory carried out Turkey’s single largest flexible packaging investment. The new plant worth nearly 200 million TRY uses automatic production systems, simulations, horizontal and vertical software integration, cyber security and cloud technologies. A solvent recovery plant has been established at İspak Ambalaj’s new environmentally friendly factory. Our carbon footprint will be minimized thanks to the facility that will recycle 5,000 tons of solvents per year.
İspak Ambalaj’s facilities, which implement ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC IoP (Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials), OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, have been awarded the Award for Excellence in Consistent TPM Commitment, the second phase of the TPM Awards.

Posco Assan TST was established in 2011 with the partnership of Kibar Holding, Pohang Iron and Steel Company (POSCO), and POSCO Daewoo. Having established the first and only cold rolling mill for stainless steel in Turkey, Posco Assan TST began production in 2013 with an initial investment of 350 million dollars and a yearly production capacity of 300,000 tons. Its mission is to provide services as fast as possible to meet the needs of its customers and to keep customer satisfaction levels as high as possible by producing top quality stainless steel.
Posco Assan TST has the one
and only stainless steel cold rolling plant of Turkey.

As a result of the auditing conducted by the EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency), the company obtained the ADOA (Alternative Procedures to Design Organization Approval) in November of 2012 and the POA (Production Organization Approval) in December of 2013. The production is carried out with the authorization of the EASA and FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
With a team consisting of 110 employees, TSI carries out design, engineering, manufacturing, research and development
activities at its new facility with an area of 3,400 m2 and an annual seat production capacity of 25,000 pax, which is located at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. TSI SEATS Inc., which was founded by TSI for the American aviation industry, operates in Salt Lake City, Utah. TSI has completed a total of 93 plane orders as of the end of 2018, and it has orders for more than 300 planes to be delivered between 2019 and 2023.
TSI Uçak Koltuk Üretimi San. ve Tic. A.Ş. was established as a joint venture between Kibar Holding, Turkish Airlines, and Turkish Technic. Authorized by the EASA and FAA, TSI manufactures airplane seats for the A320, A330, A350, B737, B777, and B787 models. TSI also produces spare parts for airplane seats with the authorization granted by the PMA (Parts Manufacturing Authority) and provides maintenance services with the Part 145 certificate. TSI Uçak Koltuk Üretimi San. ve Tic. A.Ş. has two production lines, which are located in Istanbul and Utah, and carries out design, engineering, manufacturing, and research and development activities internally.

Assan YapıMoreover, the renewal of its paint line facility and the construction of the Assan Aluminium Kocaeli Dilovası Factory and the Assan Hanil Production Facilities project, which are both investments by the Group, were carried out by Assan Yapı.
Assan Yapı acted as the contractor firm for the “İspak Packaging Factory” project, for which the foundations were laid in June of 2016 at the Asım Kibar Organized Industrial Zone in Izmit. The company is proud to have completed the project, which is one of the largest packaging factories in Europe, within 2016.
Assan Yapı, which has established a strong presence in the construction sector in a very short period of time thanks to its innovative and technological projects, along with its executive and technical staff, continues its operations with the same determination it had on day one.
Founded under the umbrella of Kibar Group in 2007, Assan Yapı operates in every area of the construction sector. Assan Yapı expands and improves each day by making use of the latest technological developments.
The projects that have been completed by Assan Yapı include Pendik - Kurtköy Houses, Asım Kibar Vocational and Technical High School, Tuzla Municipality Semiha Kibar Social Facilities, Tuzla Semiha Kibar Teacherage and Tuzla Municipality Waterfall Park.

Kibar Enerji (Kibar Energy) was established in 2011 under the structure of Kibar Group to conduct importation and wholesale of natural gas in Turkish Energy Market. Kibar Enerji acquired 1 billion m3/year of natural gas purchase-sale contract under the West Line Contract transfer in 2012; and has become entitled to conduct importation and wholesale of natural gas as of 1 January 2013. Kibar Enerji aims at becoming one of the leading players of Turkish Energy Market which has become more liberalized with the gradually increasing participation of the private sector.

Assan LojistikAs of 2017, Assan Lojistik started the scheduled partial transportation service to West Mediterranean and North African countries. It aims to achieve progress on the One Belt One Road (OBOR) project with the African market in 2019.
As of 2019, Assan Lojistik provides services for prominent names in its sectors together with Kibar Holding subsidiaries with 110 competent employees, the Istanbul-Tuzla and Hatay-Iskenderun facilities, the Mersin sales office, a self-owned fleet, and a wide range of suppliers.
Adopting process-based management in the organizational structure, Assan Lojistik utilizes the opportunities for automation and digitalization and continues to invest in Human Resources and Technology.
Assan Lojistik was founded in 1996 with the aim of providing port-connected transportation services. Assan PortWith the installed capacity of 250 thousand TEU per year, Assan Port offers services for “Container, General Cargo, Project Cargo and Dry Bulk Load Ships”. In addition to the advantages provided Assan Port İskenderun for the companies in the Eastern Mediterranean and South-Eastern Anatolia and in the south of Central Anatolia regions due to its geographical position; and it is also the nearest container terminal opening to the west for the Northern Iraq.
With its specialized and experienced staff,Assan Port offers high-quality services to itscustomers in its port equipped also with aRo-Ro ramp and subject to high-standardsecurity controls on a 24/7 basis.
Assan Port was put into service by Assan Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., one of Kibar Group companies in İskenderun Organized Industrial Zone in June 2010. Assan Port İskenderun, the first container terminal providing services for modern container ships at İskenderun Bay, has become the second and a very important alternative following Mersin for the same hinterland.
