Long Reef Golf Club is home to a links style golf course with practice range, putting green and fully equipped Pro-Shop. Our club offers great opportunities for all golfing levels and has the flexibility to create golf packages from 20 -140 players. You can also choose to take advantage of our putting greens or practice range to practice your skills. We also have a resident Golf Pro to help fine-tune your swing or master your putt.
Our Golf Events and Catering Team will ensure that the day is enjoyed by all whether you choose to have a casual BBQ lunch or a formal event.
The Long Reef Club House has a fully licenced bar as well as three function rooms that can cater to any of your events.

Booking and Organising a Successful Golf Day
At Long Reef Golf Club we offer a choice of packages which can be tai-lored to your needs.
Corporate Golf Days are available from Monday to Friday with a mini-mum of 20 players and a maximum of 150 players.
Packages can include:- Event Management- Schedule for official draw and commencement of play- Registration – with skirted trestle table, board for draw, score-cards and course maps- Placement and collation of all on course competitions

LONG REEF GOLF CLUB STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS
CORPORATE GOLF DAY BOOKING & DEPOSIT FORM The following Terms and Conditions of Business are to ensure customers contracting LONG REEF GOLF CLUB LTD for Corporate Golf Events held on the
premises (including Golf Course) are aware of the conditions of hire in order that their function runs smoothly and there are no misunderstandings.
Bookings and Deposit Payments
Confirmation by way of a $1500 deposit is required to secure the date and time of your golf day within 14 days of a tentative booking. Unfortunately due to the popularity of Long Reef Golf Club we do not hold temporary bookings for more than 14 days. According to the Registered Clubs Act, 1976, all bookings are subject to approval of the Board of Directors of the Long Reef Golf Club Ltd who reserves the right not to accept bookings. At your request, your booking may be transferred to an alternate date with 60 days notice and no penalty applies.
Time extensions and Public Holidays
A three hour room hire is complimentary with corporate golf packages. The room allocation will be dependent on the number of guests confirmed. An additional $15 per person catering surcharge applies for Public Holidays. All functions must conclude by midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings and by 10pm Sunday through to Thursdays. Guests are required to vacate the premises within 30 minutes of the conclusion time, being mindful of our neighbours and our residential location.
Cancellation / Postponement Policy
Should the Golf Day be cancelled, the following conditions will be applied unless otherwise agreed by Long Reef Golf Club. o Cancellations must be received in writing or by email.o 2 months prior – deposit will be refunded.o 2 months to 1 month – 50% deposit will be retained by Long Reef Golf Club unless the event is rescheduled in the following 3 months.o 1 month to 15 Days prior – the full deposit will be retained by Long Reef Golf Club.o 14 Days to 8 days –the full deposit will be retained by Long Reef Golf Club and 50% of the agreed green fees must be paid.o 7 Days – the full deposit will be retained by Long Reef Golf Club and the total of the agreed green fees must be paid. If cancelled inside 5 days, the total
amount of the agreed catering must be paid.
Cancellation / Postponement due to bad weather
Play will continue rain or shine. Long Reef Golf Club has the right to declare the course closed if it deems the course un-playable or unsafe due to extreme or inclement weather. In the event that the course is declared closed and play has not commenced, Long Reef Golf Club will offer an alternative date on a space available basis. Catering arrangements will proceed as arranged irrespective of weather. Our catering team will, if possible, adjust the timing of service to accommodate the guests.
Final Numbers and Payment Final numbers for golf are required 2 weeks prior except in the circumstances of a Shotgun Start where a flat fee applies. For other formats the final numbers for golf are required 14 days prior and will confirm the minimum number to be charged. Final numbers for catering purposes are required 7 Days prior and will confirm the minimum number to be charged. After this date, increases may be accepted but not decreases. Long Reef Golf Club will provide an invoice following your event. Payment is expected within 7 working days from receipt of the invoice and the deposit will be deducted from the final invoice.
Alcohol and DecorumThe Long Reef Golf Club is obliged to abide by State Government regulation in regard to the responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons, minors and those whose behaviour is considered by management as disorderly will be refused beverage service and may be asked to leave the premises and/or course. It is your responsibility to ensure orderly conduct of your guests, especially when leaving the premises at night. Management reserves the right to call police and/or terminate the reception, without refund of any monies, should such behaviour present a problem to guests, staff or neighbours. The Long Reef Golf Club is the licensee of the premises and controls the supply and all revenue from the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Alcohol On-Course A drinks cart is available to provide beverages on course at a cost of $250 which includes a Long Reef Staff Member with a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate. All beverage selections for the drinks cart must be purchased from Long Reef Golf Club. In some cases, a fundraising event may be granted approval to bring donated beverages to stock the drinks cart. In this case, an additional $250 fee will be charged for the drinks cart. Long Reef Golf Club’s liquor licence prohibits the consumption of beverages served in glass on the golf course. All beverages must be served only from cans or plastic.Due to limited storage, left over stock will be held until 10am the following day.
Smoking Smoking is prohibited anywhere within the clubhouse however guests may smoke in the designated outside smoking area.
Property, Damage and Breakage You are responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings, merchandise, signage and gifts. The Club will not accept any responsibility for the loss of or damage to any such property, before, during or after the Golf Day. Any decorations, gifts or personal belongings must be collected at the end of the event. You are responsible for any damage to the building, facilities and furnishings on the premises; and for loss however arising, as a result of any action by your guests or contractors (e.g. decorators, musicians). Please ensure all contractors are made aware of this. Any damage to ceiling tiles will incur a repair fee of $220 per tile.
External Contractors The names of all external contractors must be advised to the Long Reef Golf Club prior to the function. Contractors must be approved by Long Reef Golf Club management. Long Reef Golf Club reserves the right to apply limits/ restrictions on contactors so as not to impact on the venue and surrounds.
Price Variation All prices quoted are subject to variation. Notice will be given in writing of changes.
Indemnity LONG REEF GOLF CLUB uses the freshest and best available food and ingredients, and prepares food under the most hygienic conditions. However, no liability is accepted for any latent defect in any products used by Long Reef Golf Club or any loss however arising there from.
Dress Regulations Long Reef Golf Club dress regulations must be adhered to by all guests both in the clubhouse and on the golf course.
Signage Any Sponsor signage is to be delivered to Long Reef Golf Club no later than 2 days prior to the event. Long Reef Golf Course can be subject to the elements and certain types of signage such as pull up banners are unsuitable, these can be erected in the clubhouse. Also tents and marquees need to be erected by event organisers (not on tee boxes) with weather permitting. Signage will be placed on the course at the Course Superintendent’s discretion. All signage must be accompanied by appropriate pegs and ropes.Signage must be collected from the club with in 2 days of the completion of the event. Any signage remaining at the venue for longer than 2 days may be disposed of.
Change Room / Shower
All golf day attendees are welcome to use the shower and change room facilities.
Long Reef Golf Club does not have lockers or storage facilities for golf clubs and buggies.
Conditions of Golf Cart Hire
The Long Reef Golf Club hereby rents to the Hirer undersigned in these terms and conditions in consideration whereof the renter acknowledges and agrees:-
1. The Golf Cart hired together with all tyres, accessories and attachments will return in the same condition as when received
(fair wear and tear accepted).
2. Hirer and any other driver shall at all times use and drive the Golf Cart carefully and in particular Hirer shall comply with and enforce the
following provisions:
(a) No more than two persons to ride in the Golf Cart at the same time
(b) Keep feet inside the Golf Cart
(c) Drive slowly down hills
(d) Set brake when stopped
(e) No persons under 17 years shall operate the Golf Cart
(f) The Golf Cart shall not be driven over the greens or through the bunkers, or across the orange lines around the greens
(g) The Golf Cart must only be driven on the fairways or paths at long Reef Golf Club.
3. The Hirer hereby indemnifies the Long Reef Golf Club against any claims, actions, suits or demands of whatsoever nature by the hirer or any other
person arising out of the use or operation of the golf cart.
