How does it work?

We identify opportunities to reduce your energy use and increase the efficiency of your

primary heating and electrical plant. With access to your half hourly energy data we can

accurately determine the level of savings that can be achieved through these investments.

What level of savings can we expect?

Obviously each site is different, however through the use of established technologies such

as CHP (Combined Heat and Power), optimisation of incentive schemes and reductions in

climate change taxes; our historical data shows that significant savings are achievable.

How much does it cost us?

ESP can provide and finance all services including the design, installation and on going

maintenance of the equipment. The principle is simple, ESP will only make a charge on a

portion of the savings during the contract period.

Can we use our own Capex to generate savings?

Yes. The project can be undertaken on a standard capital basis whereby ESP simply

designs and installs the equipment and a 100% of the savings are yours from day one.

Over what period can we contract with ESP?

This is entirely flexible. As part of EPC (Energy Performance Contracting) we can also

agree a period in which to continually reinvest a portion of the savings in further initiatives,

this will achieve on going improvements which can assist your CRC commitments.

How can you guarantee savings?

The operational performance of your site will be defined through your historical energy data,

this can be directly compared to the increased efficiency associated with technologies such

as CHP (Combined Heat and Power). We are therefore able to confirm percentage savings

irrelevant of fluctuations in energy costs.
