Split Boring Bar Holders & BushesBenefits of our Split and Hinged Boring Bar Holders include compatability with anti-vibration bars, increased cutting performance, deeper boring capability (up to 10 times diameter) and increased performance over standard boring bars. We also offer Split Reduction Bushes for use with smaller diameter boring bars.

Designed to rationalise your toolmanagement process through the useof a single system for both turningand rotating tools, Coromant Capto®provides high repeatability and maximum rigidity, enabling the higest possible metal removal rates to be achieved.

No modi�cations are needed to tooling– standard tools can be used straightaway. Tool change-over times are typically reduced from 10 minutes to just 1 minute, which can mean savings of € 50,000 a year on a typical CNC lathe.
