DESCRIPTION
Coro Pisani is an interactive installation that involves people in a music game. Our goal was to renew interest in the Venitian baroque tradition of “cori spezzati” (separated choirs) and at the same time create an engaging installation highly interactive for music learning.

Coro spezzato
A term used to describe the division of musical forces into musically and spacially distinct groups. It is associated particularly with polychoral music written by composers in Venice in the mid-16th century. The contrasting groups engage in a musical dialogue, in phrases of varying lengths and degrees of overlap.
