To protect you and others around you, everyone is required to wear a mask or face covering when distancing is not possible. Follow these protocols each time you come into work:

Always wash or sanitize your hands before donning a face covering or mask Use soap and water and lather for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

Cleaning your workspace Cleaning helps prevent the spread of COVID-19 The university has implemented an enhanced cleaning frequency – once daily, five days a week – to clean and disinfect common areas and commonly touched surfaces in our buildings.

Please assist us in maintaining a healthy environment by cleaning objects in your personal and shared workspaces throughout the day:

Cleaning guidelines • Use EPA-approved cleaning products (such as Lysol and Clorox wipes).

Read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for all cleaning products.

• Where surfaces are visibly dirty, clean with soap and water prior to disinfection.

• After cleaning, dispose of used cleaning materials, and immediately wash hands.

• Discard Items used for cleaning, like disposable towels, in trash cans. Waste from chemical disinfectants should be disposed of appropriately.

• Disinfect frequently, at a minimum daily.
