How long can cord blood be stored?

Scientists have reported that under cryogenic temperaturesbelow -150ºC, stem cells can be stored for up to 1,000years4, and still remain viable for future treatment.

How is cord blood processed and stored?

Once your baby’s cord blood iscollected, it is transported to

our facility for processing. Thestem cells will then be stored incryogenic storage tanks attemperatures below -150ºCusing liquid nitrogen. Cordblood storage does not dependon electricity.
