Metro is initiating the environmental work for the Eastside Transit Corridor Phase 2 by holding Scoping Meetings for the various alternatives: No Build, Transportation System 'Management, and two built alternatives: '

The scoping meetings are the first step in the preparation o f a Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Report (Draft EIS/R) in accordance with the requirements o f NEPA and CEQA. This is your opportunity to learn about the proposed project and prdvide input on the alternatives and the evaluation process used to identify and mitigate environmental impacts. The format ofthe meetings will include an open hous'e followed by a presentation to inform participants and provide an opportunity to aslc questions and submit comments. A total o f four public scoping meetings will be held, so please plan on attending the meeting most convenient for you.
