“Records and evidences of actual implementation of these policies must be made available. A student is allowed to enroll a course after he/she has satisfactorily passed all its pre-requisite courses.”
Retention Policies
The College of Nursing specifies in its Retention Policies that for the Level III students to proceed to their second semester, the following requirements must be met:
Pass all subjects in first semester BSN III curriculum
Obtain a grade of at least 80% or above in major subjects
Have a GPA of at least 80%
II. Objectives
General Objective: The study aims to analyze the
incidence and coping mechanisms of persons with fear of noncompliance on academic retention policy among BSN Batch 2013 students of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute.
Specific Objectives:
What is the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, religious affiliation, family income, physical coping strategies, emotional coping strategies, mental coping strategies and social coping strategies?
What is the incidence and coping mechanisms of persons with fear of noncompliance on academic retention policy among BSN Batch 2013 students of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute?
Specific Objectives: Is there a significant difference in the incidence and coping mechanisms of persons with fear of noncompliance on academic retention policy among BSN Batch 2013 students of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute when grouped according to age, gender, religious affiliation, family income, physical coping strategies, emotional coping strategies, mental coping strategies and social coping strategies?
