BackwardListen Cooties,

T hese Cootie Comics were created to aid in assisting new Specie Pediculi in the nu-ances of being a part of this “Crummy” organization. Also, to remind those who have been a Cootie for a long time that our goal is to have lots of fun! Not only in our Scratches, but also when we serve our veterans and their families in hospitals, nursing homes or any place that they reside. Remember to “Keep ‘em Smilin’ in Beds of White!”

I wish to thank all those Specie Pediculi who have helped me on my Cootie journey. The list is too long to thank everyone, but here are a few noteworthy Cooties: Supreme QM Gary Dressel, Past Supreme Commander Mark Newman, Delpha Martin, Gordon Lam, Olin Parks, Past Supreme Chaplain Allan Perkins, Past Grand Commander Tommy Darnell, Past Grand Commander Dwight Booth Jr., Past Grand Commander Ross Walker, Past Supreme Com-mander Larry Alexander, Dennis Marsh, Chaplain Tom Darling, Darin Combs, Pete Laythe, Pat Potter and flo Parmelee.

I wish to especially thank Maribel, the love of my life, for her tireless support and patience! Whether I’m on the computer or drawing cartoons for my Brothers she is an ever-present inspiration!

Finally, at the top of this page the heading says “Backward.” If you’re a Cootie, you know why. If you’re not a Cootie, then pull one of them aside and ask them. I’m quite sure they’ll tell you. In the meantime, enjoy the cartoons and have a “Lousy” day!
