the P&C and can also be accessed through the school website. Two of the state priorities are attendance and well-being. In light of this I have attached a flyer demonstrating the importance of attendance and the adverse impact less frequent attendance can have on a child’s educational development. In regards to well-being, the students will be completing a ‘Tell Them from Me’ school survey shortly and a note will be sent home to parents with further information.

Congratulations to Ella and Persia who have been selected as members of the Headlands District girls soccer team to compete at the Far North Coast PSSA trials tomorrow at Kingscliff. Good luck girls!

Our Year 3 to 6 students will also be competing in a netball gala day at Mullumbimby netball courts next Thursday. A note will be sent home this week with further details.

On Thursday I will conduct our annual school ANZAC commemoration ceremony.

Huge thank you to Delvene (Aelfie and Quin’s grandmother) who has generously donated a piano in excellent condition and has already become a popular musical item in our school library.

Many thanks - Geoff Coghlan
