Pizza Serves 2 Preparation Time- 20 mins plus resting Cook - 10 mins ________________________________________________________________ Ingredients 250g strong plain flour 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp fast action dried yeast 160ml lukewarm water 100ml passata Clove of garlic, finely chopped Salt & pepper to taste Oregano Mozzarella or cheddar Alternative toppings:-Prosciutto / ham, mushrooms, pepperoni, roasted aubergine, roasted red onion. Utensils Large mixing bowl Scales Rolling pin Large baking sheet Cheese grater Method 1. Place the flour and salt together in a large bowl. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and gradually add to the flour. Mix well to obtain a dough. Knead well for a couple of minutes. 2. Shape the dough into a ball and leave to rest in a bowl, covered with a cloth for 5 minutes. 3. Knead the dough for a couple of minutes more and leave to rise for a further 30 minutes in a warm place. 4. Flatten the dough with the palm of your hand and using a rolling pin, roll the dough out to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Place the dough on a lightly oiled baking tray, leaving the edges slightly thicker.

5. Mix the garlic with the passata and some seasoning. Spread over the pizza base, leaving a border around the edge. Add your selected toppings. Drizzle with a little olive oil.

6. Place on the oiled tray and into a hot oven (220C) for 10 minutes until the top is bubbling and the dough is turning brown.
