Cooking Class & Child's Day

Activity Report.

It started with good energy, the children never lose their curiosity to know what they are going to make, they made Pasta Primavera, a very healthy recipe for children to develop their interest in vegetables and know how to integrate them into their food. The younger ones participated in cutting the vegetables, we were always supervising them and teaching them how to cut.

It was curious to see how one of the children had a hard time tearing twigs from the broccoli, Jael and Sharon took the time to explain in detail how to do it, apparently the Child has difficulty using his hands, but he succeeded, he did very well.

It was possible to see the children very happy to have cut their vegetables. The biggest ones cooked the pasta and made the sauce. Time was short but we had fun, jumped 4 types of dynamics were performed, within them, he was asked the name of the library, name of the books they have read, make a story in a group and the last one consisted of Quick assemble the puzzles in pairs, there were two winning couples. The children laughed, shouted, danced and even jumped, it was seen that they enjoyed it.

They were given the food prepared in the cooking class, the gifts were distributed, they were very excited to see that they were given stories, crayons and puppets, and to close the day they were given their piece of cake.

Children's Comments:It was a very fun and beautiful day, we liked the gifts, the dynamics, the food was delicious, we helped cut the vegetables and help prepare the food, we really liked the dynamics of the puzzle. We hope there are more cooking classes, we like it a lot.Thanks Ricardo, the Celebration was fun for the day of the child.

In the pastry class 9 children participated, 5 teenagers and in the celebration 24 children and adolescents in total met.

Ending the activity, a girl approached me and said “Teacher!, today was the happiest day of my life". Thanks to their generosity they give happy days to the Nicaraguan children.

Teacher´s Of Cooking Class Comment:In the Celebration of Children's Day and the Cooking Class. The organization of this event was very emotional for everyone. We did it with respect, affection and loyalty, remembering Dr. Martin. Even with the sadness that invades us, we continue as a gesture of a beautiful farewell to a Brother that we will carry in our hearts and I thank with great affection the Sir who donated the money so that the children could Celebrate with love and joy.
