• Day 2 LAS VEGAS – FLAGSTAFF 2
Heading out this morning, you'll get your kicks on Route 66 as you head east on this iconic highway, stopping o� at Seligman and Kingman on the way for a taste of all things Americana, before fi nishing up today in friendly Flagsta� . Hotel: Fairfi eld Inn & Suites by Marriott Flagsta� East
• Day 3 GRAND CANYON EXCURSION
Next up, the Grand Canyon and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take your time exploring this 2 million year old feat of nature or better yet, why not treat yourself to an Optional Experience that could see you fl ying in a helicopter or aircraft over the North and South rims. (B)
• Day 4 FLAGSTAFF– LAKE POWELL – PAGE 1
This morning before you depart your Flagsta� hotel, enjoy an Iconic Breakfast at Charly's Pub & Grill. You will then make a stop at Wupatki National Monument. Driving on through the Painted Desert, you'll then arrive at sparkling Lake Powell. • Day 5 PAGE – HORSESHOE BEND – MONUMENT VALLEY – KAYENTA 1
Giving the term ‘iconic' a whole new meaning, Horseshoe Bend is fi rst up today before heading on to explore Monument Valley in an open-air vehicle. Stand and stare at the rusty red spindles and grand buttes thrusting 1200 feet skyward from the barren valley below. (B) Hotel: Kayenta Monument Valley Inn
• Day 6 KAYENTA – FOUR CORNERS – MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK – DURANGO 1
Stand in the exact spot where Colorado, Utah, Arizona and New Mexico meet at Four Corners, then head to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Mesa Verde National Park. You will fi nish today in the old Colorado mining town of Durango. Hotel: Durango Downtown Inn
• Day 7 DURANGO – SILVERTON – MOAB 2
Before you depart Durango, railway fans can opt to board a traditional coal-fi red locomotive to explore the remote wilderness in style. After, you will then pass wildfl ower meadows and majestic peaks as you travel through the San Juan Mountains, stopping in Silverton for a wander down Blair Street. Pass through Ouray (pronounced you-ray) before arriving into Moab, Utah's adventure capital surrounded by rugged, rusty red canyons. Hotel: Fairfi eld Inn & Suites by Marriott Moab
• Day 8 ARCHES NATIONAL PARK AND FREE TIME
Another day, another blockbuster icon, this time courtesy of Arches National Park. Over 2500 naturally formed sandstone arches cover the landscape here, the most notable of which is the 60 foot tall Delicate Arch. For an even better view of this wild west icon, join us on an Optional Experience ̂ hike which steadily climbs 480 feet uphill for uninterrupted and unparalleled views which may require a moderate level of fi tness. • Day 9 MOAB – CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK – DEAD HORSE POINT STATE PARK – GOBLIN VALLEY STATE PARK – TORREY 1
First up today is Canyonlands, Utah's largest national park. Stopping by the ‘Island in the Sky' mesa for sublime views, you'll then travel on to Dead Horse Point, another soaring mesa that sits 2000 feet above the Colorado River. The colorful Goblin Valley State Park is your next stop, before spending the night in quiet Torrey. (B) Hotel: Broken Spur Inn
• Day 10 TORREY – CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK – GRAND STAIRCASE ESCALANTE NATIONAL MONUMENT – BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK 2
Capitol Reef's colourful landscape and prominent domes will kick start another busy day. Driving along Byway 12, admire the towering ponderosa pines before stopping o� at Grand Staircase, named for its uniquely striped layers of rock. Finally, your day will come to an end amidst the sunset coloured spires of Bryce Canyon. (B) Hotel: Bryce View Lodge
• Day 11 BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK AND FREE TIME
Venture into Bryce Canyon National Park today and stand in puzzlement in front of the multicoloured ‘hoodoos' and vast amphitheatres. Then be sure to take a stroll to the rim of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Tonight, why not add an Optional Experience where you will be in for a treat with dinner, a show and some good old fashioned western fun to see out your trip in style.
• Day 12 BRYCE CANYON – ZION NATIONAL PARK – DEPART LAS VEGAS
Travelling back to Vegas today you'll make one fi nal stop at Zion National Park. Your trip will come to an end at McCarran International Airport, or at Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino for those extending their stay in Sin City. Note:Airport arrival will be at approximately 6 p.m., please be aware when booking your fl ights.
