Being committed to the concept of "doing the right thing for the client and putting the client

first", Mark is both successful and approachable in his business acumen. With over 10 years

diversified experience in the financial services industry, coupled with his MBA (Finance specialisa-

tion), he is passionate about empowering individuals to reach their financial goals through

financial concepts/education. Running his own financial brokerage with a team of 10 associates,

he is responsible for training, development and mentorship of his team. As a business owner, he

understands that one has to be a team player as well as to lead by example.

Giving back to the community by volunteering is something Mark is very passionate about. Whether it

is at a local food bank or as the Co-Chair of the financial literacy committee for CAUFP (Canadian Asso-

ciation of Urban Financial Professionals), Mark jumped at the opportunity as it had both a two-fold

effect: giving back to the community and also helping to empower individuals through financial

literacy.
