Warning:

This is not so much a pattern as it is a recollection of how I made mine. I wonder how the joins will hold up to some of the

twisted wearing of this piece, and whether or not the shape will hold enough to wear it flat/straight again? Possibly you

might want to reinforce the “V”s where the slits join up.

Pattern Notes:

Regarding size, the circumference of the tube should be enough to fit your hips, so knowing your ribbing tension, cast on

the necessary stitches. You can play with the length of any section to your own preference, but the centre section needs to

be long enough to allow the different ways to wear it.

Directions:

with 6.0mm cast on 90 sts, join in round.

knit 3x3 ribbing for 9”.

split half the stitches for front/back, 45 sts each.

with 8.0mm knit front in stockinette for 14” (from end of ribbing) slipping the 1st stitch each row.

repeat for back.

rejoin in the round.

with 6.0mm knit 3x3 ribbing for 9” (from end of stockinette).

bind off.

Sorry, I did try to get this to all fit one page, but then only ants could read it.
