The Cost Audit Report and Compliance Report as approved by the Board should beused as source for creation of the XBRL instances

Though the XBRL instances of Cost Audit Report / Compliance Report areprepared on the basis of the Cost Statement of the company approved by theBoard, they are not the exact replication of the statements. The process ofconversion of approved cost statements into XBRL instances requiresapplication of judgment, including, in matters of mapping the coststatement items to the appropriate tags in the costing taxonomy

For every fact, where some detailed information or bifurcation needs to begiven; a footnote can be attached to it. Every footnote element must be linked to

at least one fact [to insert footnote, please right click at desired cell]

As per the business rules, all mandatory items shall have values [to knowwhether the given element is mandatory or not, please right click at desiredcell]

Creation of the Cost Audit Report in XBRL format and filing thereof, as approved bythe Board and certified by the Cost Auditor, is the responsibility of the company.The Company has to ensure the correctness of data and other information

contained in the XBRL Instance Document

For the current year, the MCA-21 system would allow re-filing of the revisedCost Audit Report/ Compliance Report of the company only in case of an error in

the original fillings

User shall create a new file by using “SAVE AS” and keep the original file intactfor future use

To know business Rule, use right click at the desired cell

CIN No. must be 21 Digits only

Pre fill button is provided for adding correct name and address of thecompany with help of online database of MCA

Reporting Currency of entity is fixed as ‘INR’

Para 4 to 6 are hidden, it will generate only after filling up data in Para 3

Para 4 to 6 will be generated for each product group which is added at Para 3

Wherever “Text Block” is available simply click on button “Text Block” to adddetails by copy and paste or add text

At Para – 5 value of product will automatically derived after filling up of Qty andRate. User can remove the same and put value as per their requirement

At Para – 6 Operating Ratios will automatically derived from Para – 5; User canremove the same and put % as per their requirement

Copy and Pate from Word and Excel files is available for Text Block

To copy and paste from another file(s), use Paste Special Value function –Alt – E + S + V (from excel Files) or Alt – E + S + T (from Doc. File)

While moving from one file to another file, if Alt + Tab is not working thentry Ctrl + Tab

To handle many sheets and move around, it is recommended to use Homebutton or Ctrl + H at any sheet to go to Home Screen. A window lists allvisible sheets in the file. By clicking on desired sheet name user can reachto the said sheet.

This button is at Home Screen, it will validate all sheets. It isrecommended that this process be carried out prior togenerating XBRL instance document.

Generate C2XSRF DocumentThis button is at Home Screen, it will GenerateC2ZSRF file. C2XSRF is a convert2xbrl securedreturn format. Upload C2XSRF format in localsoftware and generate xbrl file.

Generate Report This button is at Home Screen, it will generate report anduser will see it in Internet Browser. It is recommended touse ‘Google Chrome’ browser as it provides PDFconversion facility also.

By using “ADD or DELETE PRODUCT / ACTIVITY GROUP” a product/ activity groupcan be added

When at the column “whether product or activity group covered under cost audit(Yes/No)” is selected as “YES”, then only it will generate corresponding lines athorizontal formats for ‘Qty information’, ‘RM, Utilities and Industry Specificelement’ and ‘Abridge cost Statement’ for CY & PY will be inserted for the saidproduct group

When at the column “whether previous year figures reported (Yes/No)” is selectedas “No”, then data cells for previous year will get locked at horizontal formats for‘Qty information’, ‘RM, Utilities and Industry Specific element’ and ‘Abridge costStatement’ for CY & PY will be inserted for the said product group.

If user wants to change from “Yes” to “No” at “Whether product or activity groupcovered under cost audit (Yes/No)”, then the corresponding sheets for Para – 4 and5 will also get deleted

If user wants to delete desired product group, user can put cell on said productgroup and by selecting “delete product group” delete it. However, if “Yes” waschosen at “whether product/activity group covered under cost audit”, then thecorresponding sheets for Para – 4 to 6 will also get deleted.

group detail. Simply fill other details in relevant cells horizontally. After input detail in both current year and previous year. You can view how your

data will come out in vertical form by VIEWQTY sheet .any product sr. no inputand see view.

Raw material utility and industry specific

Kindly use this – horizontal table for inserting data of RMC, Utilities and Industry Specific Item. Please note that this table has 169 columns. You are required to fill up the applicable columns only.

Please ensure that no row shall be added in this sheet. In case of need, please go to ‘Product Group Details’ and add relevant information there only.

Product orb service detail s will automatically appear from ‘Product Group Details’ filled up earlier.

Then after input desired values in horizontal rows. These values will automatically transferred to Abridge Cost statement.

Insert CIN will automatically fill Name of the Company. Hence, do fill CIN firstwherever applicable.

Drill down button is available for selecting country. By pressing Add Related Party, user is asked whether user want to add

transaction with the said party. If yes then related party data will get copiedautomatically.
