CONUS is a contemporary styled post top luminaire which provides architectural styling with a choice of conventional or LED light sources. Designed to integrate into any urban environment, the CONUS form incorporates a cylindrical lens and inverted conical shape which follows the smooth lines of modern conical columns.

The luminaire shall consist of a high pressure die-cast aluminium that conforms to EN1706 AC-44100 gear and optical chamber along with a cylindrical polycarbonate lens. CONUS incorporates integral electronic gear or an LED driver to control both high intensity discharge or LED light sources. The optical arrangement consists of a internal anodised aluminium reflector for HID and an extruded aluminium heat sink that incorporates the bespoke LED PCB with dedicated individual lenses incorporated within a clear cylindrical polycarbonate lens providing a symmetrical, asymmetrical or long and narrow distribution. Access to the optic, lamp and control gear chamber shall be tool-less via a single latch. The control gear can be accessed via two tool less spring latches. CONUS has been specifically designed for post top mounting with a range of bespoke columns. The product can be specified with a factory fitted photocell.

Dual Light Source

Thermal Control

> Complete thermal control for LED version with its dedicated heatsink to conduct heat away from the LEDs.

> Electronic gear located in the coolest part of the luminaire, away from the lamp, which ensures ballast temperature is maintaned as low as possible which extends the ballast life.
