Problems associated with driving SiC MOSFETs
• SiC MOSFETs are very fast (due to their device physics)• The effect is high turn-off di/dt, which can cause:
• Vds - Voltage overshoot• Oscillation in the Vds
• SiC MOSFETs have very narrow short circuit withstand window• Drivers need to detect and respond quickly
• Susceptibility to noise (low Vth)• Temperature feedback can become critical if operation
causes die temperature to swing

• Each board is digitally inspected under UV light
• Storage, Transportation, and Operational testing in accordance with IEC 607212-9:2014 to be performed
• MTBF testing per MIL-STD-883 Method 1005.9 to achieve a 20-year product lifetime at an ambient of 85 °C
