The Roman Catholic church say divorce is wrong but they do allow annulment which says that the marriage never took place.

Other Christians, such as Methodists, think that although marriage is special and blessed by God sometimes people make mistakes. They will allow divorce and remarriage. Christians often work fro groups like RELATE who try to overcome difficulties in marriage.
