A Medical Scribe is a new concept in modern

medicine. A physician’s job has been focus on

direct patient contact and care. It is essentially a personal assistant to the physician; performing

documentation in the EHR (electronic health records), gathering information for the patient’s

visit, and partnering with the physician to deliver

the ultimate patient care.
