In 1892, the Regent Queen Maria Cristina of Habsburg and Lorena founded the Royal Centre for Higher Education - that bears her name - and placed it under the custody of the Order of Saint Augustine.
O u r C e n t r e i s p a r t o f t h e architectonic monument complex of the Monastery of El Escorial. We are entrusted to continue the cultural and educational tradition that have been hallmarks since the 16th century.
