• • Provides various educational trainings to staff and families regarding attachment and
trauma in relationships. • Collaborates with accredited agencies and other community organizations in order to
provide appropriate support services for families in the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex.

Care Ministry through Irving Bible Church.

Under LCSW-Supervision through Melanie Chung-Sherman, LCSW,
LCPAA, since 2012. Currently provides skilled therapeutic services for at-risk
families and clients from various backgrounds, including mental health, attachment, trauma, substance abuse, suicidal ideation and abuse/neglect. Has
knowledge and skilled application of various treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Level-1 Theraplay with individuals and families, Trust-Based Relational Intervention methods, and
assessments and activities related to emotional and psychological trauma in children and adults.
Trained in Level 1 Theraplay through the Theraplay Institute in
Evanston, IL. Provides Theraplay services for children and families who are
experiencing difficulties with healthy attachment and relationship development. Certified in TBRI, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, for at-risk
children and families through Dr. Karyn Purvis, PhD., and Texas Christian
University’s Child Development Institute. Incorporates TBRI themes and
techniques into work with individuals and family systems.
