3-5.06. 2016 CONTINENTS Fesval of Globetrong and Non-Ficon Meengs with famous travellers and reporters, workshops, a debate, film shows, and concerts of Hungarian and Balkan and Gypsy folk music. You can have all that at the “Connents” Fesval of Globetrong and Non-Ficon, which will be held between the 3rd and 5th June at the Centre for the Meeng of Cultures in Lublin. The Fesval will feature e.g.: Paul Theroux – one of the most popular and award-winning writers of travel litera- ture in the world, Hugh Thomson – explorer, filmmaker and writer who rediscovered the Lost City of the Incas, Wojciech Jagielski – journalist, writer and long collaborator of the Polish Press Agency and the “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Mariusz Wilk – recipient of the Officer’s Cross of The Order of Polonia Restuta, author of such works as “Wilczy Notes. Zapiski sołowieckie 1996-1998” (transl. “The Journals of the White Sea Wolf”), “Wołoka” or “Dom włóczęgi”. Enthusiasts of travelling will surely love the meengs with Joanna Lipowczan and Bartosz Malinowski, who hiked the 1,700 km long Great Himalaya Trail: one of the most difficult mountain trails in the world, cyclists: Piotr Strzeżysz and Mateusz Wa- ligóra, Ilona Wiśniewska who is going to speak about the far North, or with Robb Maciąg, author of the Tuk Tuk Cinema project presenng the Bolek and Lolek carto- on to children from Indian towns and villages. CONTINENTSFestival of Globetrotting and Non-Fiction

Meetings with famous travellers and reporters, workshops, a debate, film shows, and concerts of Hungarian and Balkan and Gypsy folk music. You can have all that at the “Continents” Festival of Globetrotting and Non-Fiction, which will be held between the 3rd and 5th June at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin.The Festival will feature e.g.:

Paul Theroux – one of the most popular and award-winning writers of travel litera-ture in the world,

Hugh Thomson – explorer, filmmaker and writer who rediscovered the Lost City of the Incas,
