Dear Readers,
As it is well said ‘do not survive but live life everyday’ and what better way to celebrate life amidst all the luxuries you can dream of. In the recent past, India has seen a highly increasing demand in the luxury and super-luxury segments. At Mantri Developers, we have always catered to this need, and are coming up with more super-luxury projects in the near future. Luxury is not about creating houses or villas, indeed it is about providing consumers with a distinctive lifestyle. In this issue of Signature, we’ll take a closer look at this segment and how over the years Mantri Developers has not just set new benchmarks but has also surpassed them by bringing up better and superior luxury projects each time.
As part of our enduring efforts to give back to society through our CSR wing, Mantri S.E.V.A., we conducted a Gift Collection Drive and an Organ Donation campaign, which saw a huge turn out and we received an overwhelmingly generous response from everyone. Your participation encourages us to keep our hopes high and to continue spreading smiles across.
The year is bringing along a lot of surprises for us and we feel elated to share the same blissful moments of winning recognition with our readers. This year we bagged three awards at the Silicon India Bangalore Real Estate Awards 2013. Adding to the glory was yet another acknowledgement by CW Architect and Builder as one of the ‘Top 10 Builders in India’.
In the last few months, we witnessed yet another significant landmark with the Bangalore Metro making its trial run to the Mantri Swastik Station. Like all our projects, the Mantri Swastik Station has been designed with the same impeccable eye for precision and our signature quality. Soon, the Mantri Square Mall and the rest of Malleshwaram will be a hop, skip and a metro ride away.
With all this and much more… the first half of 2013 has been heartening and blissful for us. I would take this opportunity and wish you all the heartiest greetings for the upcoming festive season on behalf of Mantri Developers.

In creating yet another first for Mantri Developers,
on 08.08.2013, the BMRCL conducted a trial run of
the Metro Train from Peenya Depot to Mantri Swastik
Station, Malleswaram. Covering a stretch of about
10.4 km, Mr. Shivashailam, MD – BMRCL arrived
in the Metro Train along with his team who were
greeted by Swastik Metro MDPL Team headed by
Mr. Shivashankar K.N.
The building that houses this state-of-the-art metro
station is designed with two level basements,
concourse (ground level), track level and platform
level slabs. In addition, the station has two levels of
basement car parking, unique landscape features and
driveway facilities around the metro station.
This station is right next to Mantri Square. So, now
whether it’s to shop, grab a bite to eat or just hang
out, Bangaloreans can hop right on to the metro and
hop off at Mantri Square, without having to worry
about traffic or getting parking space.

There’s no fun laughing alone, so Mantri
Developers helped spread laughter in Bangalore
and Mumbai. VIRitten, a history of India, written
by Ashvin Gidwani was performed by the
acclaimed Indian comic Vir Das. The story is a
witty and sensational relook at India’s history,
with all the funny elements that have been a part
of its heritage.

Spreading Love through Music Recently, city-based Shruityaan and Mantri
Developers hosted an arts and music show as a
tribute to the Delhi-rape victim Nirbhaya. The
remarkable evening, saw some of the finest
names in Indian classical music enthrall a full
house at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. There was
a spectacular art exhibition by Ms. Sandhya K
Sirsi and sand art created by Shri. Hari Krishna.

As Indian’s, if there’s one thing we take very
seriously on Independence Day, it’s the flag
hoisting ceremony.
So, Propcare made all the necessary
arrangements for the flag hoisting, which was
conducted at the children’s park in Mantri
Espana. More than 100 people gathered at
the park and sung the National Anthem with
great pride as the oldest member from the
community hoisted our beloved tri-color.

The theme of the conference was Business Responsibility and the conference focused on topics such as Ethical Supply Chain, Sustainability Innovation and Responsible Investment. Mantri presented their views on the topics which were well received.
Adhaar Camp for MantriitesFor quite sometime, Mantri residents have been wanting to get Adhaar cards. So on Aug 10 & 11, transportation arrangements were made for our residents to finish their registration. In all, a total of 196 residents got registered for Adhaar cards.
Mantri connects at CREARecently, Mantri Developers was part of an event conducted by CREA at the Taj Vivanta, M.G. Road, Bangalore. There were almost 200 Associates who participated in this event. The idea behind the event was to get people to ‘Know Your Developer.’
CREA(I) is doing a brilliant job in bringing together the Associates in Bangalore. The event turned out to be an excellent networking platform for both Developers and Associates to connect. It also helped them realize each other’s strengths to work as a team. And this turned out to be the first of the stepping-stones towards building mutual understanding and trust.

Giving the gift of Joy

Vidyaranya, a non-profit organization which
is working sincerely to fulfill the needs of
underprivileged and mentally challenged
children, recently organized a ‘Gift Collection
Drive’ which enabled its beneficiaries with
food, shelter, clothing, education, medical
assistance, livelihood options and more.
The Gift Collection Drive was conducted
for a set of listed items in order to help the
kids get access to some of the basic things
required in their lives.
Mantri S.E.V.A motivated its employees, residents and Mantri Square visitors to come forward and
contribute basic materials that could be donated as gifts to the kids residing at Vidyaranya. As
part of the donation drive, people contributed toys, clothing, sweaters, groceries, school supplies,
blankets etc., to bring a smile on the faces of these kids. All these gifts were distributed amongst the
kids residing in Vidyaranya between the age group of 2-16 years.
Mantri S.E.V.A, the social wing of Mantri Developers Pvt Ltd, in association with Gift Your Organ, an NGO supporting organ donation, conducted an Organ Donation promotion campaign. The campaign urged people to pledge their organs. Conducted across Mantri offices, residential properties and Mantri Square Mall, the campaign received an encouraging response, and most importantly, close to 150 people pledged their support for this noble cause.

auditions began with a lot of cheering
and encouragement for the participants.

June 2013, we held a Blood
Donation Drive at Mantri
Square Mall. The objective
During the first week of August, we observed Breast
Feeding Week by encouraging mother’s to sign a petition
“To Bring Support Close To Mothers.”
M.S. Ramaiah from the Institute of Nursing Education
and Research was invited to be a part of the event to
answer any queries that the mother’s had. In all, over 800
mothers signed the petition and pledged their support to
this cause.

of the camp was to educate people on the serious deficit of donor blood at various blood banks.
Moreover, many of us were unaware that just a single unit of blood can save a life. The response from

something to rectifiy this situation.

Child Rights and You (CRY) with
venue support from Mantri Square
organized the ‘Click Rights Campaign’
promotional event on 11th and 12th of
August. Around 450 people visited the
‘CRY Corner’ to know more about CRY
and the photography campaign which
highlighted the reasons why thousands
of children do not have access to
schools. People engaged through
activities like the jigsaw puzzle, ringing
the bell to show solidarity for access
to schools to be given to all children,
getting ‘framed’ and clicked to upload
on their Facebook pages and of course
the campaign sticker was a big hit
amongst the young crowd.
WALL OF SUPPORT We remember the heroes of the country who fought for the freedom. The day brings a sense of excitement and patriotism. And Mantri Square just gave a platform for everyone to celebrate the day.
An activation wall was placed where patriots could paste their thump print on the wall. Aerial droppings of tri-color pin wheels were displayed in the atriums.

When Super-Mom’scame to
Mantri SquareWhile being a mother is the most rewarding job in the world, it can also be one of the hardest. So, we at Mantri Square decided to salute our every day super heroes through a truly one of a kind event, Super Mom, a talent hunt for the mother’s of Bangalore.
Like most talent hunts the event began with a registration process, both online and at the mall. And the response we got was overwhelming, with a total of 650 registrations. So we had our task cut for us and managed to bring that number down to 150 participants. Over the next two weeks we had various preliminary rounds to select the most talented mothers.
After judging the best talents and most suited mothers, with the help of our judges we selected the final 15 for the Grand Finale, which was in every right a true spectacle. We pulled out all stops for the show and pampered our finalists with some beauty treatment. Hair styling was done by Play Salon and make-up was done by The Body Shop. With that, our finalists were transformed into divas for the evening and were ready for the Finale.
The Finale began with participants walking the ramp and introducing themselves to the guests and the judges, Mrs. Anita Kholay, Mrs. Padmini Ravi and Mrs. Snehal Mantri. After impressing the judges with their finesse it was time for the multi-tasking round. The performances had both our judges and cheering families and friends on the edge of their seats. Mrs. Supriya Agarwal walked away the Winner, while Mrs. Sakshi Hinduja and Mrs. Manisha Surekha were adjudged 1st and 2nd Runners up.
Nonetheless, the event was a monumental success and it gave mothers a great chance to show off their skills outside of the confines of their homes.
