National and International NetworkThere are 16 D&G sales & lettings offices located
in central, west and south-west London. Douglas
& Gordon are also associated with the Country
Department – giving clients access to 38 estate
agents across the UK.
For those looking to attract tenants or buyers
from further afield, Douglas & Gordon has a
growing number of international affiliates,

IntroductionDouglas & Gordon was founded in Chelsea in 1958
by two entrepreneurs who had recently returned
from colonial service in West Africa. The fledgling
estate agency operated from a flat just off
Sloane Square. From these spirited beginnings
the company has grown to employ more than
200 people – providing property services across
central, west and south-west London.
Over the years Douglas & Gordon has retained
a strong entrepreneurial culture. The business
remains privately owned and, as a result, is able
to make and implement strategic and investment
decisions quickly and competitively.

D&G Asset Management LLP is the research,
asset and fund management division of Douglas
& Gordon. D&GAM acts as adviser to direct
property investors and also owns an Offshore

Residential SalesAs one of central London’s few remaining
independent sales agencies, Douglas & Gordon
offers a bespoke service to both sellers and buyers.
As a company, they ensure all sales teams are
NFOPP-qualified and transactions are regulated
by the Property Ombudsman.
Douglas & Gordon’s experienced sales teams
use the latest insights and data from D&G Asset
Management. This, combined with an in-depth
understanding and experience of central, west
and south-west London, ensures that clients

Residential Lettings Douglas & Gordon’s lettings department has been providing a comprehensive Lettings and Tenancy Management service to London’s residential market for over 50 years.
Experts in both short and long term lets, our ARLA-qualified teams are able to advise landlords and applicants on all aspects of the lettings process. They will handle everything from viewings and taking up references to managing the tenancy beyond completion.
Landlords often retain Douglas & Gordon for many years due to their expertise and strong understanding of the ever-changing legalities within the sector.
Property ManagementFor landlords not able or not wanting to manage their own property, Douglas & Gordon has a dedicated Property Management department. It is their responsibility to ensure the property is well-maintained and any problems are dealt with in a timely fashion. Property Management also carry out regular property checks, and are always on hand to provide help to both landlords and tenants.

Corporate ServicesDouglas & Gordon’s Corporate Services
department was established to minimise the
cost, time and stress that can be associated with
corporate relocation rental contracts.
Over the years, the department has established
itself as a leader within the industry, offering
professionalism, flexibility and an attentive
service.
Working closely with HR professionals,
relocation agents and their consultants, Douglas
& Gordon ensures that properties are marketed
to a wide range of corporate tenants moving
within, or to London. The Corporate Services
client list includes organisations such as KPMG,
Disney, JPMorgan, Ralph Lauren and HSBC.

Residential Developments The Residential Developments department
manages Douglas & Gordon’s land, new homes
and investments business.
The highly experienced team offers
comprehensive advice and services across
all aspects of land acquisition, property
development and the marketing and sales of
new homes.
In addition to sales and acquisitions, the
investments side of the group has specialist
knowledge of the private rental sector (PRS)
and regulated & life tenancies.
Residential Developments will also draw on
expertise from within the business when required.
Of particular importance is their alignment with
Professional Valuations, Property Management
and D&G Asset Management.

Professional ValuationsThe Professional Valuations department
has been carrying out formal valuations in
central London since 1979. The team is made
up of qualified Chartered Surveyors, who
have extensive experience in all aspects of
residential valuation, with a particular focus on
enfranchisement work. They are on hand to
offer help and advice to our clients, whatever
their requirements.
Along with preparing formal valuations, the
department provides valuations for bank
lending, tax purposes, matrimonial disputes
and probate. The team can also advise on
licenses to alter. Professional Valuations work
closely with Douglas & Gordon sales and lettings
offices and Block Management to produce
valuations when required.

Refurbishment & Interior ServicesDouglas & Gordon’s dedicated Refurbishment
& Interior Services department can give advice
on improvements and alterations appropriate
for a client’s property.
This can range from a quick makeover between
tenancies to project managing a comprehensive
redesign of the accommodation.

Block ManagementEstablished in 1988, D&G Block Management
now take care of over 5,500 properties in and
around central London. All sizes and styles of
buildings, including residential, commercial and
AST units are managed from the D&G Block
Management office in Victoria.
D&G Block Management pride themselves
on exceptional customer care, proactive
management of instructions and consequently
retention of clients. The services offered include
the financial management of buildings; service
charge/ground rent collection and placement for
service contracts. The department also manages
on-site staff (including concierge, porterage and
cleaning), day-to-day repair and redecoration,
together with the administration of larger
building refurbishment and repair contracts.
Residential Partners Limited, a subsidiary of
D&G Block Management, administer direct
staff management and also provide company
secretarial services to clients.

Making a DifferenceAt Douglas & Gordon, corporate social
responsibility is about a genuine commitment
to building a better society.
Every year, they support a number of charities
including Bob Champion Cancer Trust, NSPCC,
Save the Children and Red Cross.
Douglas & Gordon also sponsor local
organisations such as Battersea Ironsides RFC
and Spencer Cricket Club in Earlsfield, along
with many events within local schools and
communities.
