Sound Reinforcement The Sound Reinforcement system is comprised of a Left, Center and Right cluster with sub-bass suspended in the loudspeaker bridge. The Clair Brothers R-2D loudspeaker is a bi-amped full range loudspeaker with a 12" LF and a 2" HF compression driver. Clair Brothers CS-18 is a single 18" LF speaker enclosure. The system is utilizes several BSS Soundweb DSPs as system processors.

The loudspeaker bridge has 3 positions; the first is the stored position whereby the loudspeaker bridge is placed at the highest point of travel. The second position is the deployed state whereby the loudspeakers can be used for sound reinforcement. The third position is the service state, where the bridge travels to the lowest position, allowing service of the loudspeakers.

Line Level There are 138 Line Level audio tie lines available to use in the building. Most of which can be found in the "Combo Panels". Eight are normalled to the input of the Soundweb processor.

Audio System Description

The house mixing console is a 40 channel Soundcraft Series 4 in a road case with portable stand. The console will be operated from one of two locations. The first location is the Sound and Communications control room. This is the "normal" operating position. The alternate location is the FOH mixing location. This position will be used if required by the current production needs. The console can be disconnected with the PSU rack and re-located to the alternate position. The Effects/Playback rack is made to stay with the console.

(3) delayed loudspeakers off catwalk Under balcony speakers on 1st and 2nd Tier levels. (up to 7) Front fill speakers mounted in lip of stage Loudspeaker circuitry from a patch panel to Combo panels and distributed on LS outlet boxes.

Microphone Level There are 106 Microphone plug in locations in the building. Most of which can be found in the "Combo Panels". The other will be smaller M4 panels or M2 panels. All microphone circuits are routed directly to the control room and into the patch bays. The first 48 circuits are normalled to the splitter input. The other arrives on a terminal patch point that is not normalled. The mic splitter has one direct output and two isolation transformer outputs. One of the outputs can be directed either SL or SR combination panels for stage monitor mixing. There is a direct out selection for either control room or alternate FOH mix location. The second isolation transformer output is routed directly

Production Intercom System There is a 4 channel intercom system in the building. The circuitry is distributed on every "Combo Panel" and on (25) H-4 panels throughout the building. The power supplies and the main station are located in the SCR-2. There are (20) single channel belt packs and (5) two channel belt packs in the system. There are (20) Single muff headsets (5) lightweight headsets and (2) Handsets.

Paging can be initiated from one of the two control pendants or House Manger's Panel. The paging mic is built into the B88-9010 remote LCD panel.

Communications control pendants There are (2) communications control pendants. Each comes equipped with a Clear-Com remote headset station for production intercom.

Video Patching The patching for these systems is in the control room. There are patchable, video tie lines throughout the building, utilizing RG6 cable with BNC connecters. There is a distributed AV system located in the building, utilizing RG6 cable with F type connectors.

Program monitor/paging system There are 157 7QV speakers of various types distributed throughout the ancillary areas around the auditorium. There are (6) Zones.
