WELCOME!
GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD A Message from the Levenduskys
We want to welcome your family to the 2017 Family Camp here at the International ALERT Academy campus. Our family understands a little about going to other places of the world and the responsibilities of bringing the truth of God’s Word to the people in other countries. As a family, and with all of our staff here, we want to invite every one of you to listen to the excellent speakers scheduled this week, and join in the memorable programs planned to encourage all of us in this divine enterprise.
Within our homes, the Lord entrusts parents with raising their children and training their families to be Christ-centered. We should live our lives realizing the nature of the distressed world around us, and introducing them to the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.” (John 17:17-18)
Our prayer is that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be furthered both here and abroad because you joined with us for the 2017 Family Camp. We welcome all who come to grow in the grace of our Lord to further participate in the Great Commission that He gave us more than 2,000 years ago.
Tim, Angie, and Josiah LevenduskyAnd all of the IAA and IBLP staff

MIKE SCHADT
LEW STERRETT
Challenging us to be bold in our faith, Mike Schadt, the President of SOS Ministries, will share with us his continued experiences of God’s grace as he ministers in the third-world countries hostile to evangelical Christianity. The acronym SOS amplifies their purpose: Seekers of Souls. Mike Schadt and his team are standing on the front lines, firm in their faith, sharing the love of Christ and watching God draw the lost to Himself.
Director of a major camp and conference center, a founder of a disciple-ship school, and a certified youth, marriage, and family counselor, Dr. Lew has a passion for Biblical Leadership Development. As the audience watches breathlessly, Dr. Lew skillfully tames wild horses while illustrating our own spiritual stubbornness and our Master’s kindness to continue drawing us to Himself. Dr. Lew shares his “Leadership Lessons from the Language of a Horse” across the nation, encouraging and equipping others to surrender to Christ and become effective as ministers of the Gospel.

What does it really mean to be a witness of Jesus Christ? One of the reasons our evangelism efforts have often not been very effective is because we try telling people about a God that we don’t really know that well ourselves. Our goal with Taste of Journey is to encourage young people to pursue an intimate relationship with the Lord. We will be covering vital topics like meditation, Christ in us and our view of God. We hope you can come and not only get a taste of Journey to the Heart but most importantly come to know the Lord in a deeper way and be able to witness to others about the One who lives in you! Young Adults 13-30, Parents are welcome.
