WorkSafe for Zebra Mobile Computers

WorkSafe by Kutir Mobility provides a means to enforce social distancing in the workplace. By empowering employees to understand their physical proximity to co-workers, an employee’s Zebra Android powered computer will provide an audible alert if a social distancing violation occurs. On-demand facility views allow for an organizations leadership team to understand which employees are too close to others and provide safe work space guidance as well as contact tracing reporting should the need arise. The solution works by providing each worker with a low-cost Bluetooth tag that they associate with the WorkSafe application running on their Zebra Android Mobile Computer. The application is continuously searching for other beacons (i.e. other co-workers) and if it senses another beacon as being too close the event is recorded and an audible alarm is emitted from the Zebra Mobile Computer alerting the employee that a social distancing violation has occurred.
