where the government is now paying a special emphasis. The fire to study and educate oneself is no doubt a healthy indication but that often gets drained due to lack of proper facilities. It was once a stumbling block that has been removed with the emergence of JK

Group of Institutions.

The Institute has done a tie up with Bharati Vidyapeeth University, New Delhi for providing foreign language (French/German) to the students of JK. The conduct of Zonal Youth Festival, a State level Cultural function by the university at the JK's campus, is an achievement. The participants from various institutes participated enthusiastically and won laurels for the institute. You will be pleased to see the detailed coverage of the Zonal Festival inside this issue. Another milestone achieved by the institute is the international placement of our PGDM student- Kashish Singh at the highest ever package of Rs. 12 lakh p.a. in Gulati Exports Pvt. Ltd. in China. All other students of MBA & PGDM are also well placed with the help of institute. I congratulate the students on this achievement. Keep it up.

A new foreign language (FRENCH/GERMAN) is being introduced

as new initiative which gives a global exposure to students.

More than half of English words are derived from French. It is an

official language of all United Nations agencies and a large

number of international organizations. So we at JK Group of

Institutions provide a new edge in shaping the career of our

students by introducing these foreign languages and thus making them internationally

competitive.

JK Group of Institutions has started an E-Quiz on their Facebook

Profile which enables the users of Facebook to play the E-Quiz and

win various attractive prizes. This new initiative of the JK Group

would help the users to enhance their knowledge in different fields

of Indian Economy. E-Quiz is started to actually test the

knowledge or identify a person's attributes. In E-Quiz the results

are announced on weekly and monthly basis which encourage the

users participation and provides an opportunity to win prizes. The

E-Quiz can be participated by anybody after logging on to

www.facebook.com/jkkarnal.

JK Group of Institutions has started well equipped gymkhana for the

students. Sports equipments are available for the students. Students

have emerged with flying colour in various sports activities at Institute,

Students work out here regularly with a view to develop their all-round

personality. The institute gives equal importance to both curricular and

extra-curricular activities. It is the constant endeavor of the institute to

see that the students grow intellectually and physically. We firmly believe

in “Healthy mind resides in healthy body “ This gym facility is available to
