INSERT AN IMAGE
File size of 500 KB or less is recommended for best results. The limit for an individual image upload is 30 MB. When it comes to image size, bigger isn't always better, as uploading multiple large images can affect site performance.
Images can improve the design and the appearance of a web page and enhance the understanding of your content.
The width and height of the image is defined in pixels. Keep the width of the Content Zones in mind when setting the dimensions of your images. e.g. Center Content Zone = 600px, Left and Right Content Zones = 300px.
Primary image formats used on the web
GIF are used mostly to showcase animations
PNG supports transparency making them a fantastic option for logos and icons in particular
JPEG is an excellent option for displaying complex photographs that include a lot of colors
