EventsFace to Face: Format Options

Roundtables: Discussion forum for small groups of 8-10 targeted participants. Includes an invitation-only breakfast or cocktail session for a larger group

Live panels: Designed for an audience of 50-100, these gatherings include a keynote speaker and a panel of 4-6 industry leaders, all addressing a live invitation-only group of senior communicators

Workshops: Designed for audiences from 10-50, these workshops provide concepts, strategies, and practical actions relevant to the targeted audience and based on your marketing objectives

Alternative Program Formats: Want an event that informs and posi-tions your company as a thought leader, but doesn’t fall into any of the above categories? Here are some alternative formats:

Open-space format – a variety of short, small-group sessions that attendees engage with as they wish. Engagements are 18 minutes or less, with multiple speakers concurrently speaking in one room in an informal format

Campfire discussion (breakout rooms) – the facilitator intro-duces a topic and then drives the discussion but not the content itself. The content is created by the delegates in real-time and provides peer-to-peer sharing

Un-conference format – Each room encompasses a theme and is hosted by a moderator, but topic discussion is created by conference attendee’s onsite prior to the start of the session

Hackathons – This format produces creative problem-solving. Often groups revolve around problems that the subject matter experts bring to the table and that encourages an outpouring of “non-traditional” engagement for participants
