I am very happy to put in extensive time to read up on information to enhance the design development of a project, which is born

from a love of reading and the aspiration to produce educational source material in my design practice. // I am a confident speaker, being able to happily talk to new people, clients, and employees, also by giving design, marketing and enterprise presentations. // I am very self motivated and hard working, with a firm belief that hard work brings good rewards, which I believe, and hope is evidenced in both my academic grades and portfolio of design work. // A great networker, with a passion my design practice and my work in the environment, meeting new clients and attending events to both promote myself and my work in a retail environment. // I believe I am a friendly and approachable person, being lucky enough to have lived in various locations in the United Kingdom throughout my life which has put me in the situation of having to meet new people and now build personal relationships with relative ease. 5 CREATIVE SKILLS // One of my particular strengths is the application of colour and how it is applied within Image-based design. With a direct interest in colour theory and the symbolism of colours, I have gone on to further this study within my design practice to create a self-initiated design project about the psychology of colour. // Good knowledge of the Adobe creative software at CS5 level- Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Illustrator, specialising in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign for my Image and Editorial work (my specialism within the industry). // Good experience and knowledge of working with print and within the print industry with digital, screen printing and letterpress methods of production, with outcomes created for both degree and retail outcomes. // A good ability for idea development. I am a conceptual and logical thinker with a very active mind in terms of design production. // I have a real interest in type as image design, and want to expand my creative and image-based conceptual design in combination with the more structured, editorial elements of typographic design. 5 PERSONAL QUALITIES I WANT TO PROMOTE // I am very ambitious, and always strive to work at my full potential and achieve the best results possible in all aspects of my life- whether it be in my design practice, or simply in day-to-day tasks.

// I am an optimist, and always look for the best from a situation. Positivity promotes productivity, and I believe that my optimism is the best character trait to be able to affectively achieve all that you aspire to. // I’m willing to take on a challenging brief- although my work and portfolio may have a more determined “optimistic” or playful style and character, I am more than willing to turn my hand to a more formal design outcome(s). // I believe I am loyal person, and feel truly dedicated to friendship and relationships (both working and personal), with strong family connections and firm friendships that have been maintained since a young age. // In a nutshell (cashews, please) I love life (it’s been said a few too many times as observations by others to be ignored). I believe that life is what you make it, and we all have a responsibility for what we achieve and get out of life. I hope and aspire for nothing short of brilliance.
