DID YOU KNOW???

The number of field missionaries and International Mission Board staff personnel who have been asked to

take early retirement now stands at 1,132. These missionaries are fifty years of age or older and have been in mission service between twenty and thirty

years. This represents the largest reduction in missionary personnel in the history of the Southern Baptist Convention. As our pastor encouraged us in December, let us continue to pray for this period of

transition in the lives of our faithful brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray also for wisdom to know how we as a congregation might be able to minister to some of

these families.

Mature Adults

April 12th, 11:00am– We will have a fellowship meal in the Fellowship Hall. More about the menu and program will be in next week’s bulletin. The date is a change from the Mature Adult Calendar.

The Church Family of FBC Guntersville extends deepest sympathy to

the family and friends of Mary Kearney, at the passing of her

husband, Jack Kearney. May God bless you during this time.

Please be in prayer for the youth mission trip this summer. If you would like to buy a candle to help support students' fundraising efforts, please see Warren or Heather Jones. They can

put you in contact with kids that are selling them. Thank you!
