Q. How long will the whole process take?A. The chemicals will only be on the floor for a few minutes. The time is in the preparation, cleaning, sample test, and it needs to be rinsed. It would depend on how many square meters you are doing. You should work in small sections.

Q. When can we walk on the floor?A. The floor can be walked on as soon as it is neutralized. It will be wet but not slippery.

Q. Is this a coating that goes on my floor?A. The Stone Grip product is not a coating that can wear off. Slip Doctors imprints amicroscopic tread pattern on the tiles that is so slight it is not visible to the eye.

Q. How long will it last?A. The floors can be slip resistant for years, unless you put another coating over it.Coatings can be a buildup of dirt and grease. Waxes will coat the floor.

Q. What safety equipment is required?A. The person doing the application should wear gloves and rubber boots. Protectiveeyewear should be worn. Long sleeved shirts and pants would be a good idea as well.

Q. How will I know how to do the process?A. Complete instructions are included in the package.

Q. How do I know how long to leave the product on my floor?A. The instructions will walk you through a small test area to determine the length of timethat you will leave it on the floor.

Q. What if I am not sure what type of floor tile I have?A. If you send us a sample of your tile we will tell you what you have. Possibly a photowill do the trick

Q. What do I do if I get some on my skin?A. Immediately wash your skin with soap and water.

Q. Are there legal implications to selling a solution to prevent slip and falls?A. It is important to communicate to your customers that you are selling “friction.” Slip Doctors never promises to eliminate slip and fall accidents. By increasing surface friction (traction), the likelihood of a fall is reduced. If this is accurately communicated then there should be no legal implications.

Q. What is my cost per square meter?A. Your cost per square meters depends on the product you use. In most situations yourcost will be $1.50 -$3.00 per square meters. A typical job of 100 square meters productcosts can be less than $300.00. If you charge $20.00 (average) per square meters, thenyour gross profit should be $1500 with revenue of $2000. If you choose to dilute down our concentrates your price points can go as low as .50 cent per square meters.

Q. What is the life expectancy once you have treated a surface?A. In most situations the results of treatment with Slip Doctors’ products will last in excessof 5 years. All providers include a 2 year written warranty

Q. What is the shelf life of the product?A. Sealed bottles stored in a climate controlled facility will last in excess of 5 years. Someof our newer products will have a different shelf life. Always read the label and keep yourproduct sealed.

Q. Do you offer a solution for Vinyl, VCT, Metal, Painted Surfaces, Sealed Surfacesor Linoleum Floors?A. Yes. The Floor-Grip, Dura-Grip or Tuff-Grip line is very effective on these surfaces.Call us to find out more details.

Q. Do you offer a solution for Wood Surfaces, such as stairs?A. Yes. Slip Doctors Floor Grip coating works on wood surfaces.

Q. Why do you have a separate product for concrete?A. Slip Doctors’ Stone-Grip products will work, but the concrete treatment will worksubstantially better. This is very important for freight docks, outside concrete andcommercial warehouses where extra traction is desired.

Q. How effective is your degreaser and is it important to this business?A. We have an extremely strong degreaser which needs to be diluted prior to using on thefloor. Degreasers are a commodity product and one can always be purchased one at anycleaning supply store or hardware store. Depending on the contaminants you are cleaning,you might need an alternative degreaser with a different PH level. This is discussed indetail in training and can be used as another source of revenue.

Q. Do I need a sealer?A. Not usually. There are certain situations where sealers can be used. We domanufacture many sealers for specific situations. More detail is discussed in training.

Q. Will more “Anti-Slip” products be developed and available to providers in thefuture?A. Yes! We are always looking at additional high quality products worthy of the Slip Doctors name. Our “niche” is products in the slip-resistance business-space with highprofit margins for our providers. If you have a good idea, let us know about it.

Q. Is training required and do you charge for it?A. There is no additional charge for training. Training is not required, but highlyencouraged. We are flexible with your schedule to find a date that works for you. If you cannot attend training we do suggest you spend some time reviewing the manual.

Q. Do I get marketing materials?A. We include 2,000 customized flyers or postcards. You will be given contactinformation for our design firm to develop your own custom marketing materials. For anominal fee, the firm can even mail postcards to the specific industry of your choice.Contact us for more information.

Q. What equipment will I need to operate?A. We will provide you with all necessary equipment to start the business.

Q. Are there any additional or ongoing fees besides the initial package costs?A. No – however, you will need to purchase a minimum of $200- worth of products per month.

Q. Do I need a Slip Meter? What about the BOT-3000 or ASM?A. To sell a project, a Slip Meter or BOT-3000 is not needed. However, should your client request proof of “before and after” friction, a Slip Meter will be of value by allowing you to provide “before and after” COF results. We do not include a Slip Meter inthe package but it can be purchased for an additional cost. Alternatively, if your customerwants access to BOT-3000 or ASM, we can arrange for you to hire it from us for a nominal fee (per day) - please contact us for further details.

Q. Can I perform traction auditing services for my customers with a Slip Meter?A. Yes; assuming you understand what you are providing to your customer. Traction auditscan be a valuable tool for a Director of Risk Management, Engineer or Architect.
